Trattoria Da Lucia — Restaurant in Berlin

Had a wonderful lunch with friends at Da Lucia just a few days before NYE 2023. It's a great place to go to if you're looking for quality Italian cuisine in Berlin, good atmosphere, friendly employees, and an overall positive experience.

The location is good, very easy to get here from different U-Bahn and bus stations. The space is charming, with lots of space, and very pretty interior design. I've had meals several time here before, and every time I'm extremely satisfied.

The food is delicious, wide selection of options for everyone. Wine menu is also extensive and the quality of wines is great. You can't go wrong with pizza, pasta, sea food, or anything else. The desserts are especially yummy. And all portion sizes are very generous, definitely worth the cost.

All in all, I recommend Da Lucia to anyone who wants to spend pleasurable time and enjoy good food in their neighbourhood of Berlin. I will definitely keep going back every time I visit.

Horrible experience with a rude Italian waiter who got my order wrong and did not want to replace it. I ordered a campagnolo pasta and he brought me a vegetarian dish. As soon as he brought the plate I pointed out the mistake and he said there was nothing wrong with it, wouldn't admit he had got the order wrong. I insisted he had made a mistake and that I ordered something else. Then he said it was his mistake, but it wasn't possible to change the order anymore. He constrained me into eating the pasta and said I wouldn't be charged for it. BIG LIE! In the end, he charged me for something I didn't order anyway and even made fun of me for having eaten it, saying "it was good enough" and "see, the plate is empty now". I felt pressured, gaslighted and mocked. I do not recommend this place and I sincerely hope this person does not continue working as a waiter here. Me and my friends were there on june 15th for lunch and are never ever coming back...

Decent pizzas but unfortunately the slowest waiter in the world. Every time I've been there, no matter if there's been empty or not, the waiter waits inside doing nothing for a couple of minutes before he comes out with the menu. When you are ready to order and he sees you, he will still stand around inside doing nothing for another 5 minutes before taking your order. When I was there today it was totally empty when I arrived, the waiter saw me but still didn't go with the menu until a company of 4 other people arrived. He waited inside for a long while until he came out and took the other table's order and then he went back in again to stand idle without even taking my order first(!). After that I left...
