I quite enjoy eating ramen and therefore went to check out this restaurant today.

It may be a bit tricky to find it as it is inside "Tenzan Lab", a Japanese shaved ice restaurant. They seem to sell both now? Anyways, the ramen restaurant part is reached through the entrance to Tenzan Lab, just keep going inside. :)

The menu is very simplistic, it consists of simple starters like fried dumplings (Gyoza), steamed peas (Edamame) and so on. The main dishes are 5 types of noodle dishes (3 meat Ramen, 1 vegan Ramen, 1 noodles + dipping sauce option "Tsukumen"). Drink menu consists of selected teas (mostly green tea) and 2 lemonades. The price range from the main dishes is between 15 - 20€ which seems to be normal now but I do think it was a bit on the expensive side as I'll explain in a moment.

Ordering was simple and the staff was kind, the waiting time was also rather short. Both card and cash payment are possible.

I ordered the Shio Ramen which is a chicken broth and salt based ramen topped with sliced, torched chicken meat, half soft-boiled egg, seaweed sheet and scallions (15€).

The soup had a good taste and depth to it but, at least for me, it was too salty. The noodles are cooked al dente which is fine for me but might not suit other people's taste. The toppings overall not only look but also were really tiny to me. I do have to admit though that the egg was cooked to the perfect soft-boiled stage and the chicken meat (Chashu) had a sublime roast aroma.

To sum it up, I had a simple experience regarding the interior and staff in a good way and the ramen was alright but nothing more. The salt taste, the al dente noodles and the really small-scaled toppings were filling but not FULfilling to me, thus making it a tad bit too expensive. I'd actually rather give it a 3.7/5 but I believe there is potential and room to grow into something delicious in...

We tried two types of ramen: the shoyu truffle and wagyu. The broth and overall flavour were quite good. However, the noodles in one of the bowls were unfortunately clumped together and not cooked properly (as shown in the attached picture). This was far from the standard I’ve experienced during my time in Japan.

The edamame special starter lacked taste, though the matcha tiramisu dessert was enjoyable. That said, I felt the matcha flavour could have been a bit more pronounced to really shine.

The service had its highs and lows. The main staff member who explained the menu at the beginning was friendly and knowledgeable, which set a nice tone. The other waitresses were sweet and kind but seemed a bit overwhelmed and unorganised overall. It gave the impression that they might not be fully accustomed to a restaurant setting, though I understand this is a pop-up.

Overall, the experience had potential, but there’s room for improvement, particularly with the execution of the dishes and smoother coordination of...

Came here the other day to take a friend for their birthday and have to say this is the most flavoursome broth I've tasted in Berlin, a beautiful balance that brings out the best notes of each of the ingredients. The clams in the asari especially come through in that, but the 2 others that we tried were also brilliant.

Will be coming back to have a full bowl of the other ramen.

Service is fast and extremely polite/ kind, all the staff were lovely and helpful and attentive, menu is small so you know there's no wasted ingredients or anything that doesn't get ordered.

No alcohol as of yet but they're more than willing to offer corkage! And apparently they will be offering alcohol soon to go along with their brilliant broths.

Will be returning here for sure as the price as well is extremely reasonable. The sort of place I'd love to turn up to the counter at and grab a bowl before heading home after work to sit and savour...

I had so much hope for this ramen place and expectations. 🥺😓 But over first visit wasn't so happy with my dish. I had ASARI and my friend SHOYU ramen. Kindly they prepared mine without garlic due to my allergy, thanks for that! The broth of my soup was the way too salty i wasn't able to eat it :((( Noodles were a little bit aldente which i never experienced eating ramen. My friend and I noticed that it's very little ingredients inside, you get a feeling that u eat just liquid with noodles. I literally had just 2 slices of mushroom and 5 super tiny venus clams (meat of these 5 weight maximum 8-10 grams) 🙄 very disappointing. So you don't really feel you are eating "seafood type" ramen. I heard from other guests they were also pointing this fact. I find their price a little bit too big for what you get in your bowl. Yes ramen looks beautiful but too minimalistic i would say.
