Came here for a lunch and would not recommend based on my experience. The place was not busy at almost 1PM, But they tried to squeeze everyone who entered into a small corner, as of hoping more customers would materialize. The service was awful - we couldn’t get anyone to take our order for 15 minutes, even after making eye contact and then nodding to say they’ll get to us (they promptly forgot). But the worst is that the salmon on the lunch special menu was not really a salmon filet as I would expect. It’s salmon skin with a tinyyyyy sliver of fish attached and deep fried to a crisp. It felt like leftover from the sushi salmon that they were trying to make use of. The poor service I can take, but cutting corners on quality of food is a definite no in my book. Food was ok. What was not ok was the behaviour towards the table of teenage girls who were trying to pay their bill. Member of staff was incredibly impatient and raised her voice multiple times to 4 children. Accused them of underpaying, emptied out ALL HER MONEY onto the table and counted up over €200 to check if the balances were correct. All this directly next to our table. Girls asking her politely not to shout, to calm down, the member of staff just kept shouting "WARTEMAL" and then banned them from returning. Absolutely no need to treat anyone this way. Outrageous: my friend ordered some sushi that came with a salad, and on the lettuce she found a big slug. When we told the waiter, he just looked at the plate, grabbed it and took it away without saying a word. After a while he came back (because we had to call him!) and we told him we weren't going to finish our food (we were too grossed out). He said my friend didn't have to pay but we did. So we went to pay and he offered us a 50%. The most astonishing thing is that neither him nor any other member of the staff ever apologised. Not even a "sorry".
