Wonderful local spot, no English menu, but Google/Apple translate app are your friends, and the proprietor/server speak English. I had the wiener schnitzel and my partner had the Koningsberger Klopse (a type of meat ball) both with delicious warm German potato salad (nice and vinegary). Der Chef ist ehrlich um seine Gäste bemüht. Er tritt freundlich, eloquent und gern auch mit einem angenehmen Humor seinen Gästen gegenüber auf.

Die Speisen sind von hoher Qualität und in der Kombination auch mit einem gewissen Esprit zubereitet. Insgesamt sehr ehrliche Küche zu einem wirklich angemessenem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Dass die Spätzle zu meinem Hirschgulasch jüngst etwas verkocht waren, nehme ich als Ausnahme.

Die beständige Speisekarte mit Klassikern, wie Wiener Schnitzel, wird durch saisonale Tagesangebote super ergänzt.

Unbedingt bemerkenswert ist die üppig sortierte Weinkarte. Hier findet Jede und Jeder etwas für den eigenen Geschmack. Wer nicht lange suchen möchte, der lasse sich einfach kompetent vom Chef beraten. Ihm gelingt es stets, einen passenden Wein vorzuschlagen.
