We were truly surprised to find the place nearly empty, especially given the stunning interior design, which initially gave us high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being a perfect example of style over substance.
The food quality was far below what one would expect at such pricing. Every person at our table was left unsatisfied with their dish — the presentation may have been beautiful, but the taste was underwhelming and lacked freshness. One dish in particular clearly wasn’t fresh, which we addressed with the staff.
It took three different waiters just to understand what the issue was. Instead of a sincere response, we were finally met by a female manager whose attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Rather than showing any understanding or goodwill, she began explaining why what we said “couldn’t be possible” — implying that we were at fault for even raising the issue. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in an establishment that aims for a high-end experience.
What we expected was a simple: “Thank you for your feedback, we’re sorry and we’ll bring you a fresh dish.” Instead, we were made to feel like we were being unreasonable. In a place of this caliber, such a response is inexplicable.
Sadly, it seems that in Germany, good service is not always a given — but that doesn’t mean it should be excused //OMG – what is wrong with you guys? Are you seriously implying again that we are lying?
There were three waiters literally standing around the plate, trying to figure out what was wrong. And now instead of just offering a simple apology, you're trying to convince us otherwise?
I did not even mention in my original post that we had issues with the bill at the end — the staff couldn’t manage to correctly charge just three tables. That alone says a lot about the level of professionalism here.
To be clear: I didn’t even order food this time because I was already disappointed during my last visit — the octopus back then was way below average. I gave the place another chance, but honestly, it turned out to be a total trap. Beautiful interior, yes — but that’s about it.

Read moreWe visited for dinner as a family (two adults and a child). While the interior was lovely and stylish, the service felt cold and inattentive. The Chardonnay I ordered tasted cheap and overly alcoholic - nothing like a proper Chardonnay. Starters were okay, but the main course was disappointing: a whole fish served uncleaned, with head, bones, and tail. No offer to fillet it, no proper utensils or wipes. The fish tasted bland with a slight unpleasant aftertaste. When I raised the issue, the waitress apologized and offered a complimentary dessert - which, sadly, was also underwhelming. Overall, the place tries to be fine dining, but doesn’t deliver on food or service. With some changes, it could improve - but for now, I wouldn’t...
Read moreWe went simply because the restaurant was close to our hotel, but were absolutely blown away by the food. Everything was absolutely delicious and completely fresh, with very generous portions. The fresh bread that came with the olives and muhumara was the best I have ever eaten, and the muhumara starter with pomegranate on top was out of this world, My 8 year old so had the jumbo prawns, which he absolutely loved, and the chicken souvlaki was incredible. Our waitress, Ela, was brilliant and made sure everything was good for us. The decor was really stylish and it had a very welcoming ambiance. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough - I never usually bother to write online reviews but these guys really deserve...
