Awesome Taproom with amazing service. These guys know their beers and they offer a great selection of beers to raise your Untappd game, so make sure you ask them for their expertise. That’s pretty much all we needed for a great night out.👌🏼
As everything is different during Corona I went back on the 29th of March to check out their partnership with Piri’s:
Warning: I might tend to exaggerate in this post as I am sooo happy about this “dinner session”. 😅 Today was simply a great day! The air was warm, the sky was red, the beer was cold and the food delicious!! #heaven 😁 The combination of the Manifest Taproom and Piri’s turns out to be an amazing fit. I went with a Vegetarian friend of mine and we couldn’t resist but trying as much as we could from the menu. 😅 The excitement to picnic in the park was just too overwhelming. Aaaand it was “Manic Monday” (see pictures for this special offer) which basically meant we even saved money! 😂 Furthermore, we came to support locals so just a burger just wouldn’t show enough of our appreciation. 😁 We ended up grabbing the Piri and the Fiction burgers + the wings and the mushroom nuggets. What can I say: I absolutely LOVED the piri burger!! 🤤 The thin slice of chicken (in contrast to all the massive deep-fried chicken sandwiches that everybody is whipping out these days) and the cheese which really hit my gusto worked really well with the piri sauce and soy aioli. It was a bit messy but the bun held its ground and I enjoyed every single bite while the sun kept us warm and waved Berlin goodbye for the night... 👌🏼 The guys at Manifest, recommended two amazing beers to go with our food choices which rounded the whole experience. I could not imagine a better dinner, in a nicer spot with more refreshing beverages or better company. 😉 Those definitely are the moments worth...
Read moreWe visited here Thursday 5th August 2021. We'd walked from our hotel Steigenberger Hotel, near Berlin Hauptbahnhof, so for anyone near the main station it's about about 4km away, and as I understand it the Tram route M8/M10 woul seem to be the best public transport option.
The area en route and around Manifest was super lively, lots of eating places, bars, and it looked like new places popping up all over the place. The area seemed really energetic and buzzing. We sat outside, the occasional very light rain had now long since subsided. There were a few simple German style bench seats and some parasols/umbrellas to give a little shelter from the rain or shine. The young cool guys serving had American accents and knew their beer, we could choose either to check the beer menu out via a QR code, *this seems an increasingly popular option now in a COVID-19 world, either this or simply listening to what the barman suggested based on preferences. Alternatively I guess @manifesttaproom might bring updates via Twitter (I haven't checked so can't confirm) btw their WiFi password is Manifest15.
I had a Zagavor Replica a NEIPA style beer from a Moscow brewery, Loz had an Outer Range Double Buckets a hazy DIPA. Both beers were very good. I nipped inside to use the facilities, their seemed to be a couple or so interconnected rooms with a bar off to the left, but otherwise I didn't really explore the interior. I liked this place, it certainly has a cool vibe and situated relatively close to a number of other Mitte venues made a pleasant mini crawl, *btw we tagged on Mikkeller, Castle and Brewdog onto our evenings itinerary.
From a brief beery place options discussion with the guys here, I understand that this is connected to and owned by the same guys that run the very highly regarded...
Read moreLovely place and great beers, however absolutely NOTHING vegan to eat on the menu (except for chips out of a bag and some mysterious pickled vegetables). The one sandwich that has VEGAN SALAMI listed as ingredient is not vegan because, according to our server, bread is not vegan and there’s cheese in the sandwich (which they can’t remove???? Don’t understand that, maybe they buy their sandwiches ready made from somewhere else?). I would go again for a drink but not when I’m hungry.
EDIT: This is a reply to your reply. Why are you being so hostile? How exactly am I ruining anything? I gave the place a 3 star review and left constructive criticism: I saw the menu clearly listed vegan items and assumed there would be vegan food for the vegan person I’d invited over. However, when we asked, the bread (which would be a basic item) was not vegan. We asked, you answered, I left a review clearly...
