While walking by the roads I realized that this restaurant had recently opened. So me and my brother decided to try this new place, as we were curious to try out some hand made noodles.
Sitting indoors was not possible, although it was fresh outside, we sat down outdoors. The waitress came to us once in a while to check for us - very attentive and friendly person! We drank some tea which stayed warm until the end of our dinner.
We started with Dim Sum (Pork) the dough was good - the filling was flavorful, hot and juicy. Main course was noodles with special spice chicken and the noodle soup. The noodles with the spice chicken were delicious. I really loved that food. My brother got jealous on my choice! But as we decided to change the meals - I understood my brother's disappointment quickly. The broth was pretty plain and tasteless, so he tried to spice it up with the chili oil. The soup was rather disappointing. Considering the noodles, they were nice but nothing particularly outstanding. I guess I just expected more from the great reviews.
I recommend it to try out yourself, overall the food and prices are good and the service was fast. I guess it only depends on your own flavor and...
Read moreA relatively new place serving up mainly Chinese noodle soups and noodle dishes. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is extremely friendly, unfortunately the rest of it is relatively unmemorable.
With 12-14EUR price ranges for most mains, I did have higher expectations, especially since they're one of the few places around the area that do beef noodle soup. The food itself was a bit underwhelming. Rather than a more traditional beef noodle soup it almost felt like "beef pho" which was disappointing (I hope its' because my order was misunderstood, but for beef noodle soup in the area I'd pick Chi Bar down the road for something more traditional).
Some others got the Chicken Noodle Soup and the Tan Tan Noodles which looked really good, maybe something to try next time should I go back.
They do accept card though, for payments...
Read moreI ordered pan-fried buns (shengjianbao) and potstickers at this restaurant, which cost €13. Since there was no soup on the menu, the owner made me a separate seaweed and egg drop soup, which cost €6.7 (small portion, expensive)
However, the portions of both the buns and the potstickers were extremely small—about one-third the size you’d get elsewhere in Berlin—and I was still hungry after finishing everything. Since they only accept cards for payments over €20, I told them to just charge me €20. They simply said “thank you” and did so. Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this place.
As for the taste, the pan-fried buns were quite average. The potstickers were better, but still very small. When you bite into them, they’re mostly air with just a tiny bit of meat...
