I visited the Prater Beer Garden on the 14th of June, 2024, for the first game of Euro 2024 between Germany 🇩🇪 and Scotland 🏴. This wasn’t my first time here; I've been to the Prater Beer Garden several times for various occasions, but this visit stood out. The ambiance at Prater Beer Garden is always lively 🎉, but it truly comes alive during big events like this game ⚽. The place was packed with enthusiastic fans 🎊, creating an electrifying atmosphere ⚡ that added to the excitement of the match. It’s an ideal spot for sports fans looking to enjoy a game with a crowd 👥. The beer selection is excellent 🍻, offering a variety of authentic options that are perfect for any beer lover 🍺. The food also deserves a mention – traditional and delicious 🍖🍟, it complements the beer perfectly and enhances the overall experience 😋. What makes Prater Beer Garden exceptional is its ability to create a space where friends can come together and enjoy a great time 🤗. Whether it’s for a game 🏟️, a casual hangout 👫, or any special event 🎈, this place never disappoints. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy good food 🍴, great beer 🍺, and an unforgettable atmosphere 🌟.

Prater is Berlin’s oldest beer garden, serving beer since 1837! It is located at Kastanienallee in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg around a 20 minute walk from Berlin Cathedral. With seating for 600 people, Prater Beer Garden is a winning choice when the sun is shining. The best bit is it wasn’t crowded and there were plenty of space along the long wooden benches. This just doesn’t happen in London! There were strings of fairy lights up around the venue, which must look really gorgeous in the evenings. We relaxed and played cards over a Prater Pils (0.3l €3.50) and a glass of Reisling (€4.50). We also fancied a snack so couldn’t resist a Rostbratwurst ( €3.80) and a Krakauer (grilled spicy sausage) (€3.90) together with Nudelsalat (€4.50) which was a pasta salad with rocket and Parmesan. This is one of the best bars in Berlin for outdoor space and local food and is open daily from midday between April and September.

Loved this place, and came here twice in our 2.5 day trip. Loren ordered their first ever beer here themselves, in German, and got one for me too - how nice! Tons of picnic tables, no problem finding a spot to sit. Separate windows for beer (several options including alcohol-free, and wine) and food, which consisted of beer garden staples like sausages, sauerkraut, meatballs and potato salad. Note, Berlin is still full of smokers, so beware the clouds of smoke drifting by. But it wasn't so thick that any of my clothes smelled of smoke after, so not a big deal. Really enjoyed the chill vibe.

Prater Beer Garden in Berlin is an exceptional spot for enjoying a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The crowd, full of energy and enthusiasm, adds to the enjoyable experience. The beer garden offers a fantastic selection of food and beer, all of which are delicious and satisfying. With tables occupied well into midnight, it’s clear that this is a popular destination. Whether you’re planning a team party or a casual meet-up, Prater Beer Garden provides the perfect setting for a memorable time. Highly recommended for its great ambience and delightful offerings!

The last time I was in this beer garden was about twenty years ago. I found it very pleasant back then and I'm surprised that I didn't come back sooner. no lake or river or any other water, but it still has the charm of a beer garden. the typical dishes were all okay, not a masterpiece, but definitely edible and digestible. the beer prices corresponded to the usual ones. the Prater Pils was good, as was the black beer. The only thing that annoyed me was the long line - somehow unprofessional for a beer garden

Indeed the best Biergarten I experienced while visiting Berlin. Great location covered by huge chestnut trees which gave you much needed cover from the sun. The beer was perfectly chilled and the Prater Pils was fantastic. They also serve simple food, we tasted both the spiced bratwurst in a bun and the rostbratwurst, both of which were delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere great. I would definitely recommend getting there when they open, as the place gets packed come afternoon.
