From the moment we entered my wife and I recognised Prinzipal Kreuzberg was different. Cosy, personal and with a heck of a lot of functionality packed into a small space. Bahan steers the ship throughout. He makes the drinks, becomes MC at 11 and 12 and bills you before you leave. He's your friendly host with a menu of cocktails we really enjoyed, the London Buck above all. Proof of the good time had by all was that even the door girl was allowed to dance away the night, once the burlesque shows turned to a late 70's disco set — brought up to speed in the noughties. I think we left around 0200 after being invited to share the dance floor with the office party. Loved the welcome and night cap drinks 'on the house'. The only gripe perhaps was the chill outdoor air hitting us every time new guests arrived. That didn't last long. Will return, but don't forget to book in advance. Thank you Bahan for kindly hosting us. Keep up the good work :-) Greetings...
Read moreThe bar is small and looks amazing, personnel wearing a themed outfits that is pretty cool. We were there for burlesque show with the seats "near stage". Turns out there's no stage at all, performance takes place at the second floor - in the center of the room with a few meters of space. And we were sitting around (5-6 tables around).
It was 3 performances 5 minutes each, with a breaks for like 40min.
Performances was brilliant - dance, costumes, emotions - top!
Our tickets was 50€ each, and for other places 35€ (i suppose for those who sitting at the bar on the first floor).
I liked everything, but honestly it's too expensive. You can pay the same money (or a bit more) and go to the theather to watch a show with not only 1 artist, and not 5min.
But i think it's a great themed bar and if you're there to chat with friends and drink, watch a small performances and don't really care about money -...
Read moreVery disappointing. The 30€ show is actually just two 3-5 minute dances. The dancing was mechanical and half bored, without emotion or love. The best part was when she fanned us in the extremely hot upper room. There’s no actually stage, and the tiny area where the dancer performs only has lights facing the back of the dancer, blinding the audience while leaving her face completely dark. To start the show, the owner spoke in German, despite the fact that most of the crowd obviously didn’t speak German. Then he acted offended whenever people didn’t understand. The free espresso martinis promised were actually just tiny glasses of cheap cremont. I ordered a 10€ glass of wine which was the tiniest amount of wine anyone has ever poured me (photo attached before taking a sip). Clearly the owner is only interested in your money and has no desire to provide his guests with a good time. Avoid it. It’s scammy...
