Long and narrow pub which allows smoking (provided an establishment in Berlin doesn't serve hot food then smoking is permitted inside), table service, lots of drink selection which can be seen from the menu on your table, complimentary snacks such as pretzels and nuts are always placed at your table when you order. It's very much a footballers pub, with posters of games from the past on the walls, and scarves from matches in the past hanging on the ceiling. It has a pull down projector screen towards the back for when the football's on, and plenty of comfortable seating. Toilets towards the back, a few games machines scattered in the bar, and the locals who drink here are very friendly - sociable and even bought us a few shots for us all to prost! (Cheers!). Went in the night before to ask if they would be showing the match and the owner, Puschel, said they would. Everyone from the owner and the bar staff to the customers were really friendly. Read morePerfectly located near Subway Bülowstraße in a boiling neighborhood. I, strolling around by myself, felt very welcomed by locals and tourists alike. Easy to get in touch with folks and catch up some gossip. Most important: Bear and Korn (some kind of German Whisky), they call it "Herrengedeck", was excellent.
UPDATE: Great, payment cards (Mastercard, Visa, Amex, girocard etc) are being accepted now....
