Really fresh and tasty sandwiches! Probably some of the best sandwiches I've had in Berlin so far. It's a shame I'm not in the west more often as I'd get something from here quite a bit. Everything seems to be made on the day and the selection was varied. I got one packaged ham and cheese and another larger french dressing mozzarella. The latter had soft and crunchy bread with a great toasted texture (they asked if I wanted it toasted or not), almost savory like mozzarella that was of very high qaulity and crispy green spinach leaves. The dressing was light and flavorful and balanced for the ingredients. The packaged ham and cheese brought me back to my childhood. Simple but incredibly tasty with again great ingredients with tangy and creamy cheese, crunchy spinach and succulent ham. Everything was priced fairly and the staff were super friendly especially the girl who served me. It made the whole experience very pleasant. This is how a great cafe can be! Hopefully I can drop by and try the other amazing things on...
Read moreThis little cozy coffee place in Schöneberg-Nord is situated in a neighborhood that still looks like the old West Berlin because it's called by some "the ghetto of Schöneberg." Although there's a seeming intention to preserve the historicity of the neighborhood, developments around Gleisdreieckpark suggests the contrary. So, it looks like eventually this area will also be gentrified. But I'm sure this coffee place will stay as it does reflect the global trends in a well-appropriated way.
I liked the place. Espresso is better than most places, although not as good as some other few in Schöneberg. I'm not a muffin person but I can say I ate better muffins. Also, prices can and should be lower, the possibility of which is demonstrated by many great coffee places.
I liked the place because there is a variety of seating options and cheerful and helpful staff. As petit as it sounds, i think free and self-serviced drinking water they have is a must in coffee places. I'd go...
Read moreIncredibly expensive. Decent coffee but shouldn't need to spend 4€ for a small Americano. I saw a vegan brownie which could be eaten in one mouthfull for 4,90€ I took a peanut butter cookie which was essentially compressed dust. The thing should be served with a hoover.
The place has an alternative feel like a lot of places in Berlin. Unfortunately the alternative eateries are now getting expensive and catering mainly for snobs who are moonlighting as alternative artsy folk.
Server was friendly and sarcastic in equal measures. Not necessarily a bad...
