People work there were nice but the food is just like... please don't think this is Japanese food. It's crazy this place has so much good reviews. I had so much under-average Japanese food but this was pretty bad one. Ramen was fresh out of a 3min noodle package, with a bit of seaweed toppings. Udon was the same. While you can't beat the price for a filling meal, you will find better food similar to this at many other places. All the components of the ramen and udon soup bowls are clearly store bought and anyone has access to all the ingredients at Asian markets across the city. Single worst ramen I've ever had.

The quality is instant ramen at best. Unlike "authentic" miso ramen, in which miso paste is mixed as tare with a rich broth, my noodles were drenched in the watery miso soup you get as a side for sushi.

The onigiri fared slightly better, but unfortunately fell apart.

The interior and atmosphere is spartan, to say the least.

Simply sad.
