I had the fatoush salad for 6⏠and tried a little bit of another dish. I found it interesting how this restaurant called their Shawarmaâs âSandwichesâ, itâs definitely a wrap not a sandwich.
The fatoush salad was medicore, they used pomogrante dressing instead of real pomogrante seeds. The lettuce and turnip didnât taste as fresh and therefore sharp as they couldâve been, and I have had better balsamic vinegar than that. But overall the fatoush salad was okay for an appetizer but not for a individual meal.
I tried the second dish, I have forgotten the name of it, but itâs pictured. It was tasty however there was a lot of fried ingredients, not the healthiest. But by far the biggest disappointment was the hummus and pita, the pita is incomparable to other restaurants Iâve been to where they cook the pita fresh hourly in a large woodfire oven and make the hummus from scratch. Both the hummus and pita tasted like they were bought at a regular grocery store, nothing special. I should add that with the 12⏠price for the plate, itâs far more economical to buy a shawarma for 7âŹ, you get more or less the same amount of food.
At a little over 40⏠total for three meals (one not pictured), it was on the high end in terms of price. A fair warning, they do not accept card payments and I didnât see a sign saying this, was quite...
Read moreFood looked horrible and the chicken was raw. The garlic was inedible.
Edit: Since I can't respond to the owner's response; whether your garlic cream is vegan or not is irrelevant. Vegan products can go bad too. There's a reason why I got full refund (the order was health hazard). Secondly I find it even stranger that you, a restaurant owner, take the extra mile to look up customer's review history in order to make a sad attempt at discrediting and invalidating their review. Typical gaslighting response that proves nothing besides saying a lot about you as a person.
Instead of acting all defensive, try putting that effort into not sending health hazard food that may wind people up in hospitals, cause that's how you get sued and lose business. It's not that...
Read moreThis was close to my hotel with great reviews. I'm glad I believed the reviews! I got chicken schawarma with hummus and salad, which was delicious, the perfect portion size for me, with very fresh ingredients. But the owner made my experience exceptional, helping me order from a Lebanese menu in German, taking excellent care of me, and even doing a selfie with me.
The baklava is one of the best I've ever had, and the spicy sauce is very spicy - It's a i good, but that's why I ordered an extra coke zero and a water. đ
They have 5 tables inside, and 4 more outside. The only take cash, but there's an ATM less than 10 feet from the door.
They've been here 10 years. I understand why, and...
