Ristorante San Marino — Restaurant in Berlin

I had a very... Bad experience with both the staff and the food at San Marino at this park. The food is overpriced to the level of the food, and the service wasnt even worth a third of the 34 EUR we payed.

After a wait of approximately 20 minutes, we got a bland and boring rumpsteak, with bad and boring potatoes.

And also a tortollini, but the wrong type as to what I ordered, but I chose not to say it because of the waiter.

The waiter is a whole other league of bad. He was loud, obnoxious and unengaged when we tried to order (hence why the wrong order). Also from when we sat till we got the menues we had to wait untill we asked the waiter as to where he answered"I havent got any on me right now". They kept trying to engage the conversation in german, when we had told them that we didnt understand the language.

When we had to pay, he didnt make it clear that the cardreader was offline, so I persisted to try and pay with card, and then he got very close, and told me harshly "It doesnt work". All in all, a...

I had the worst dining experience since moving here in December. The calamari were like chewing gum without any flavor. The two fish dishes took forever, then were completely without flavor and presented very basic. The vegetable side dishes were overcooked and looked like they"ve been in the pan for a while. One fish was under- the other overcooked. Both incredibly without any taste. Perhaps the pizza is better but my son's pizza was very simple. Prices are quite high for normal Berlin food - 17,50 EUR per main course. But honestly, we couldn"t eat half of it and still felt sick. This is by far the worst food I've had in a long time. It is the 16th of August 2016 and I have just returned from what I would call a solid restaurant experience at Ristorante San Marino.

The food was delightful! Despite having gone with one of their soups, I was left in awe of the wide range of flavour that the bowl contained. I wouldn't be surprised if that applied to everything else as well.

The waiter came off as professional, service-minded, and funny. This is expected of course, but this man was top of the class.

I had a bit of a language barrier with the aforementioned waiter. However I will say that it will not affect the perfect score I'm giving the place, for my struggle was purely mine and possibly not a problem for you who might read this.
