I visited this place with a friend and we both ordered original San Sebastian cheesecakes with milk chocolate dressings plus a “Kaffee Krema” and cappucino. The cheesecakes themselves didn’t have an extraordinarily good taste, they were fine. The chocolate was also alright however it froze after a while. One cheesecake per person is too much in our opinion. I drank a cappucino, which wasn’t anything special but fine. The problem with the food was that I got very sick afterwards. Diarrhea and nausea that lasted for a couple of hours. Also my stomach hurt really bad. After seeing multiple comments of people saying they encountered the same issue, I’m pretty sure this place was the cause. My friend had nausea afterwards as well, thankfully for them no diarrhea. The service was bad, they did their job of giving us cheesecakes and preparing our coffee. However, they didn’t greet us when we came in, didn’t tell my friend they were taking the wrong person’s coffee twice in a row (we were looking at the counter to see if our coffees were ready, they weren’t shouting the orders’ names after they had put them on the counter for the customers to grab). It’s a self-service place but these miscommunication issues could be solved really easily. The ambience was fine, other than the yelling kids, too many people waiting in line and the tables being too small to fit no more than 2 people’s orders. I don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to risk getting sick. I hope there are other San Sebastian cheesecake places in...
Read morei went there with a friend. first thing another customer almost ran us over trying to get his child to look at the phone call he was engaged in and then talked to the cashier and showed them the phone to talk. next the cashier didn’t greet us and when i tried to order they just roamed around and collected the dishes. card pay starting at 10€ and above is way too much and it’s just annoying to always pull out cash. the cheesecake was good but nothing out of the ordinary, the coffee was also good but nothing special. the cafe is cozy and it has lots of sitting places however the turkish music destroyed the cozy atmosphere. all in all it was nice to try it but 6€ for a slice of cheesecake without any sauce or toppings is a lot and isn’t worth for more than one time. and when you get blasted by turkish music on full volume while talking to friends/ family...
Read moreDon't get ahead of yourself. The cheesecake was very filling and sweet, but although most say it's "too sweet" I wouldn't exactly agree as the original was just fine, but if you come here with a partner or friend definitely share one slice between two, unless you're VERY hungry. After finishing our slices both me and my friend had to take 10 minutes to let it settle in our stomaches and couldn't even think about anything similar to cake for the rest of day. Of course despite that we enjoyed our cakes, the white chocolate on top was amazing just as well, plus we both got iced chai lattes which makes my mouth water reminiscing about it. The atmosphere of the cafe itself was very aesthetic and pretty, and the service was great, alongside a...
