I came to Berlin to see the Brandenburg Gate, but this dessert shop completely caught my eye. At that time, I was worried about what to have for afternoon tea. Nachtrag! 2023 Da ich so zufrieden war wollte ich wieder eine Torte zum 50 Geburtstag meines Papas haben. Leider ging die sowas in die Hose und es war eine absolute Frechheit. Haben wollte ich: eine Kirch-Schoko Sahne Füllung mit Marzipan Ummantelung und ein Motiv mit so wenig weis wie möglich. Habe ihnen ein Beispiel gezeigt wie es aussehen sollte. Nur weniger weis und mehr grün. Bekommen habe ich: eine trockene Torte mit Marmeladen-Schoko mouse Füllung. Komplett weis und ohne Marzipan. Motiv wurde auf Esspapier gedruckt … Leider wurde mir erst beim abholen und zeigen der Torte gesagt das sie weder Fondant noch Marzipan auf Vorrat hatten…. Sie dann dreißig Euro runter gehen und ich 50 bezahlen solle. Ich war so geschockt! wäre die Torte nicht vorab schon mit 40 Euro angezahlt worden hätte ich sie ihnen am liebsten um die Ohren gehauen … man ruft den Kunden an wenn man der Vorstellung nicht gerecht werden kann und vereinbart eine Alternative! Und macht nicht einfach irgendwas. Wir waren super enttäuscht! War war letzte mal! Haben eine andere Konditorei in Berlin gefunden.

Ach und per WhatsApp kannst du nicht mehr bestellen und musst direkt in den Laden. Kartenzahlung geht nicht. Also musst du Bargeld mitnehmen … zur heutigen Zeit echt nervig.

Die Torte wurde genau so gemacht wie ich sie haben wollte, aber leider nicht so sauber gearbeitet…. Preis war okay. Klar Torten machen lassen ist nicht immer günstig. Aber der Preis war gut. Beim abholen habe ich gesehen das sie auch liefern 😅 wäre super gewesen wenn man das noch angeboten bekommen hätte 😅 Aber ansonsten waren meine Gäste und ich sehr zu Frieden.

Walked into here for the first time on Feb 13th to get a birthday cake. They were open later than all other bakeries and had great reviews, so I chose to go there. I was worried at first because I only saw Valentine's day cakes and various pastries. The man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. He helped us find a cake we could take right then, we just had to let it defrost for a couple of hours. It was GORGEOUS. My friend said it was the most beautiful cake she'd ever gotten and it tasted delicious too.
