A great little find on Google Maps. REALLY, really good food! Very friendly, attentive service. Exceptional food. The tastes and flavours were insane. For starters, we had the Aguacate Caliente (Grilled Avocado) and Chicharron de Queso (Crispy Cheese & Avocado Puree). Very yummy. We had a couple of cocktails with these too, which were... interesting. Mine was the jalapeno-infused Tipp Topp... I couldn't handle it. Way too spicy for me. My wife had the Jalisco Sunset, which was okay-ish (soothing to drink after some spice). Later on, I went for the Mexican Cola and a couple of Mexican Beers (Guzman Gonzalez) - again, really tasty and full of flavour. Mains were La Costra (chicken) and Cochinita (pork cooked for 6-hours). Amazing. 10/10! Desserts were the Flan (with a nice & creamy Hot Chocolate) and a Guava Cheesecake. 10/10! Service was really good. The girl who served us was genuinely happy and attentive. She brought us 3 different sauces to try with our dishes, each with a varying scale of spicyness and flavour. We preferred the mid-range, black, smoky sauce. The mild one tasted a bit too sour and the spiciest one was just too much for us. Only minor I would have was that we had to wait quite a while for the menu's to come back so we could choose our desserts. But by that time, it was really quite busy, so that was easily forgivable. Whole cost was €90.00 and worth every penny. We'll definitely be coming back very soon! ;)

Food Quality: amazing freshly made food. Everything was delicious and of great quality. Starting with the freshly made guacamole and home made tortilla chips, all the way through the thoroughly investigated combinations of very tasty tacos served in double tortilla wraps which is the authentic way to do it. Quesadilla done to perfection with a crusty cheese edge. Portions: very very good portions. Huge bowl of guacamole (recommended to share with several people). Most taco dishes are circa 300g. Drinks: options of local drinks and the regular soft drinks and beers. Price: $$-$$$ not expensive for the amount and quality of food. We ordered way too much and had to roll on the way out. Service: very good friendly service. Most of the time even the owner will be working around the restaurant and very interesting to talk about the food and all the investigation of products that was put into designing the dishes. Atmosphere: very nice indoors decoration and space. Tables are not crowded on top of each other and has decoration related to different spices and ingredients. Highlights: really good food. Must try. I enjoyed the style of the tacos and food here. Things to improve: maybe as a suggestion, if people seem to be ordering a lot of food, a guidance on the sizes of food might be helpful to not order too much, hehe. Payment Method: CC, cash

This is a great Mexican restaurant! There’s mainly tacos but you can get amazing starters too. I’ve had the totopos and guacamole, as well as the chicharron de queso, both GREAT! The taco game is up to Berlin standards, just getting better in every visit. From barbacoa and carnitas, to shrimp! From a great pastor to a delicious ribeye and chorizo! Quesadillas, vegan tacos with nopales and fried avocado! All 5 stars. Be aware that the portions are very generous, they even double the tortillas on each taco, so you actually get almost 4 tacos on each serve of 2. If you’re in the Savignyplatz area, go do yourself a favor and get some Tacoriño! The staff is not 5/5, but 10/5! GREAT SERVICE, music, the full package for a great meal with friends.

We went back and the prices were much higher and the food wasn't better. Adding to the message below, we got pico de Gallo that missed salt or any flavor, plus they gave us 12 chips!!! The plate looked so poor.

I don't understand why the recipes food items have changed. The fish tacos had many, many thorns and super difficult to eat. The owner decided not to let us change the order and we had to pay for the terrible food. The salsa and quinoa used in shrimp tacos is not as good as before. The last three times I ordered it the shrimp was way overcooked, kind of chewy. The salsa for pastor chicken tacos was too spicy and not really flavourful. The michelada with tomato juice was spicy and unbalanced, too spicy as well. The pickled onions for the cochinita were cut as rings which made them a bit more difficult to eat than before in bite sizes. The gringa had the smallest, thinnest piece of pineapple. The guacamole lacked flavor but had tons of pepper. What happened to the amazing food quality? Why all these changes? The service is fast and friendly, but one can feel tension when the owner is there. There seems to be a quick rotation of servers and this is lowering the quality of service. We've been going to tacoriño since they open and used to consider it the best Mexican restaurant in the city. This is sadly no longer the case. We'll be back in a few months to see if anything has...
