Trattoria Toscana — Restaurant in Berlin

Honestly, dont understand the reviews here:

Food deserves 1 star the ravioli was very very salty and the ingredients used was obviously not fresh.

Service was nerve-racking! I came here with my colleagues as i was organizing the pod outing! I came before to discuss prices and maybe get a good deal for 20 people, agreed on a deal the next day on the phone the waiter tells me he doesnt know and i had to negotiate on the spot again.

After agreeing on the deal, i came.to the restaurant and the waiter told me that the drinks should be alcohol free which was not what was negotiated.

At the end of the day, brining in 20 people never helped and i felt really under pressure.

I would never step into this place again the way they handle this situation with me was not nice.

I am giving 2 stars only because they were nice through the process but that was too...

The food was very good and delicious, the atmosphere authentic, the staff okay friendly. However, what turned the night was the ignorance to accept either credit card nor corporate invoice for a business dinner with 8 people. I would have expected to be at least informed upon reservation that we need to bring cash. Also the attitude of not finding a solution frustrated me. From Sicily to Sardegna I am able to pay with credit cards at bodegas but in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg, they ignore to advance to the new century. This leaves a bad aftertaste and will be the reason we will not be visiting this...

Went there for a business dinner, the place is very cozy and small in one of the top locations of Berlin. The food was ok but not special. The place is rather on the pricier side.

UPDATE: Been here now a second time. And the food was very tasty and the service was super friendly. At the end of the dinner you will always get some small drink on the house, whatever you like, an espresso or a ramazzotti or grappa.

If you are looking for a cozy, nice Italian restaurant with friendly (English, Italian & German speaking) service, this is the place to go.
