Wilde Kuh Burgerbar / Bielefeld — Restaurant in Bielefeld

Absolutely the worst burger experience I've ever had. In their quest to cater to all the instrammers around the Wilde kuh seems to be lost in the wild.

We asked for their simplest burger and for 11 euros a burger we expected atleast a decent burger. We asked for close to a well done burger but what we ended up getting up a party if it were any less cooked the kuh would be mooing at us. Honestly even non chefs at McDonalds and Burger King know exactly how long to cook a party. Our well done burger was ice cold in the centre with raw bits of meat falling out of the burger, guys if I wanted mett Brötchen i wouldve Order it at the bakery next door!

We then sent back the burger and asked for it be cooked longer, but tada two minutes later we have it back, and guess with another 2 bites we hit the jackpot of ice cold red meat in the centre again. This was it for us, we ate the buns and the sides, which were potatoe wedges, probably also frozen, paid our bills and hurried off promising ourselves we wouldn't come back ever and also make sure all ouo friends know that this place isn't worth the fuss.

A note to the owners/chef. We visited on 11th August Saturday around 5pm. I'm not sure who was in the kitchen but I'm sure you guys have better days. If you guys are using frozen patties or atleast from the fridge, which I'm positive you were. Please train your kitchen people simple science; when you put something frozen on a hot grill the outside burns quickly and the inside remains raw and bloody. I hope you are able to fix this. For us this was horrible and from what I remember when we were leaving we also saw a family of 5 leaving with all their plates still half full. You should really get your things together, there is more to food than Instagram and social media, taste, flavour and quality are much more important.i wish you good luck for the future.

PS. We drove from 40 minutes away to eat here after reading all the reviews. I'm starting to think these reviews were completely misleading and possibly false. Please feel free to reply...

Vorab: Ich bin kein Freund schlechter Bewertungen, aber da es einige Punkte zu beanstanden gibt - und die auf der Homepage angegebene E-Mailadresse nicht funktioniert, ich mich somit nicht direkt an die Restaurantbetreiber wenden konnte, was ich eigentlich besser finde - nutze ich dafür dieses mal diesen Weg!

Burger "Dreikäsehoch" (auf der Karte mit Cheddar, Frischkäse und paniertem Haloumikäse) kam mit Pommes, die nicht gar waren. Zudem war der Haloumi nicht paniert und lag stattdessen mit drei dicken Scheiben übereinander auf dem Burger. Auf Nachfrage, ob ich die Pommes kross bekommen könnte und was mit dem haloumi sein, wurde alles mit in die Köche genommen. Pommes kamen kross und lecker kurze Zeit später zurück an den Tisch. Antwort der Bedienung zum Burger: "Wir machen das jetzt so." Auf meinen Hinweis, dass dies anders ist, als in der Karte beschrieben und dass der Käse weder warm noch geschmolzen ist, kam eine patzige Antwort der Kellnerin. Auf meine Rückmeldung, dass ich das nicht in Ordnung finde sagte sie nur ok und ignorierte unseren Tisch daraufhin. Für Getränkebestellungen mussten wir sie mehrfach laut ansprechen. Der Versuch sie darauf beim Bezahlen nochmal anzusprechen und dass uns klar sei, dass sie nichts dafür kann, was aus der Küche kommt, wir den Umgang damit aber nicht in Ordnung fanden, wurde mit absolut lächerlichem Verhalten abgetan. Das ist einfach ein absolutes no-go im Service und die Kellnerin hat ihre Aufgabe im Service leider einfach nicht verstanden! Zudem saßen wir so, dass wir einen Blick in die offnee Küche hatten. Was wir beobachten konnten, wenn Speisen in die Küche zurück kamen oder auch der Umgang der Mitarbeiter untereinander, war alles andere, als das, was mit einer offenen Küche vermittelt werden sollte! Ich hoffe wir haben einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt des Teams...schlißlich haben wir hier schon mehrfach anständige Burger gegessen. Aber wer im Service den Besuchern so versucht den Abend mies zu machen, hat in dem Job nichts verloren. Schade, dass sich die Restaurantleitung nicht via Mail kontaktieren lässt! So etwas ist auf "persönlichem Weg" immer besser. Wir werden hier erstmal keine Burger essen gehen!...

Me and my mum come here everytime were visiting our family in Germany and the progress we have seen here is incredible. The food is cooked perfectly every time with a menu that accommodates for all pallets and is flexible enough that if a burger doesn't take you 100% then you can customise it to suit you perfectly. The bar stocks a variety of flavours as well. The bartenders talent is above most in creativity being able to understand the pallet of each customer and accommodating well to their tastes. The service is fantastic and fast with the staff balancing professionalism and friendliness perfectly. Every visit is a joy and we will continue to come here every time we visit Germany,...
