I can't speak to the cakes and other offerings which certainly look good. However, in terms of pure espresso they provide one decent 100 percent arabica option with classic tasting notes. Never a fantastic sign when you ask for the bean options and they start reeling off various Robusta percentages rather than the origin, particular variety of bean, or potential tasting notes. I like barristas to at least give the impression of being knowledgeable of the whole process from plant to cup, and who are able to give recommendations based on combinations and consumer preferences, they certainly don't...

First time I went I was positively surprised by the nice vibes, the instagram-like food and the perfect flat white I got. It was busy but I didn't feel rushed or anything. Sadly the second time was really disappointing. Got excatly the same order but the coffee was slightly burnt and the milk way too hot and thus goodbye the creamy like texture of it. Gave it a go a third time and received an acceptable coffee. I hope you'll receive a good one but this place doesn't seem to be a safe bet with a consistent quality. Hatte einen Cappuccino, mittlere Größe, 3,40€. Da war recht wenig Kaffee drin, ein klassischer Cappuccino, wie man ihn in Italien trinkt, hat mehr Geschmack. Bisschen sehr fad und eigentlich ne aromatisierte Milch. Man stellt sich an die Theke, es macht jemand den Kaffee, das ist nicht sehr aufwendig, man trägt ihn selbst zu seinem Platz, Unterteller oder Löffel werden nicht hingelegt. Wenn man per Karte bezahlt, erscheint auf dem Display des Gerätes direkt eine Auswahl für die Trinkgeldvarianten, angefangen bei 10%, die anderen beiden Varianten natürlich höher, ich glaube, bis 30%. Diese drei Auswahlmöglichkeiten sind vergleichsweise groß auf dem Display, viel größer als die unterste Variante, nämlich "Kein Trinkgeld". Man muss erst aktiv abwählen, dass man kein Trinkgeld geben will. Der Herr hinter dem Tresen stellte mir das Display hin, ich war kurz verwirrt, ich bin immer nur den Betrag gewohnt, den ich zahlen muss, nicht lauter andere Felder, dann sagte er, ich müsse erst auswählen, "kein Trinkgeld" gehe auch. Wie gnädig. Sorry, Leute, aber ein wirklich nicht riesiges Glas sehr leichten Kaffees für 3,40€, wohlgemerkt Selbstbedienung, reicht doch wirklich. Und wenn ich Trinkgeld bezahlen möchte, dann für besonders guten Service. Ansonsten gehört "normaler" Service einfach mal dazu. Dann aber doch bitte selbstgewählt und nicht vorgegeben und vor allem doch bitte nicht mit 10% startend. Finde ich absolut dreist und unsympathisch. (Übrigens: Ich hatte mich draußen hingesetzt. Der Aschenbecher hätte längst mal geleert werden können. Als Nichtraucher ist das weder optisch noch vom Geruch her einladend. Aber nächstes Mal komme ich rein und stelle ihn Euch hin und frage nach 10%...
