I don’t get the idea behind this café. Why does it claim to be a concept store - it doesn’t sell anything? Why this odd box branding? It almost feels like a pick up point while not being one. The menu offers a large variety of everything possible, which is always a bit sketchy for me, but I won’t be hasty to judge, since I didn’t eat here. The coffee-based drinks were very decent. We stumbled upon Café Boxenstopp in Cologne and were absolutely delighted! The staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly welcoming. The cappuccino was one of the best we’ve had—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I tried the apricot cake, and it was simply amazing—moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Coffee is delicious! Huge cups for coffee lovers. The staff is friendly. Breakfast options are tasty., however the menu doesn’t show all the ingredients a sandwich has …. I had to open my croissant to take out the Rucola 🤢. Menu didn’t said it contain that. Cakes are not the most delicious but it goes okay!
