I have had ramen many places, and this one here is okay. We ordered Kimchi and Agedashi Tofu to start. I have never had Agedashi Tofu before, and that was probably the best thing I had while eating there. The outside of the tofu was a great texture and flavor. Now, for the Kimchi, I wasn't really a fan of this one. I had a flavor to it that I couldn't quite put and made it fishy in a not good way. I also ordered the Kara Miso and added an egg. The Kara Miso was supposed to be spicy, and there was absolutely none. There is an option to add spice, which i should have done. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the bean sprouts were an overload for me, but that is a me problem, and I should ask for less next time. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but not the best and I would come back again, and maybe try something different.

First of all the experience eating-wise was perfect. After placing the order (Torikara Ramen, see picture below), it took 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The soysauce-based broth was very smooth almost balmy with a great flavour to it. Torikara Ramen comes with chicken karaage which was like you expect it to be, a crispy panade with tender chicken beneath. That expectations were met holds also for the noodles and the egg. Especially the egg, had somehow another trait, namely, it was not that hard to pick it up with chopsticks. As the reason for the deducted star, the toilets looked rather dilapidated. Not much to say there, but using the sanitary facilities was not a pleasant experience.

Good bowl of Ramen :) very satisfying especially in a rainy Autumn evening. The egg was perfect, molten yolk in the centre, noodles springy, soup flagrant and tasty. I had the chicken noodles which is crispy friend and substantial. I added €2 for the Cha-Siew and was not disappointed, they are thick and good texture. The only thing I didn’t like is the bamboo shoots which is smelly in my opinion although lovers of bamboo shoots will swear by them. No harm, I just pass my portion of the bamboo shoots to my travelling companions who appreciate them. I finished the bowl completely!

That was a major disappointment. Tables were untidy, the floor slippery from grease and dirt. That on Saturday, at noon, short after opening, is not acceptable. The overall atmosphere of the place is rather rushed and unpersonal, surely more that of a fast food than of a restaurant. Menu choices are your average ramen place. Service was really slow and although there were about 3 waiters and roughly 10 to 12 people working at the counter & kitchen, everyone seemed overwhelmed by a mere 10 people in the guestroom. We ordered three small dishes and one Chige Ramen. Taste was OK, but from entering the place until we got half of the dishes it took 45 minutes. The Ramen had everything but the pork belly, interesting. Getting in touch with the waiter and finally getting the pork belly and the missing third dish took another 20 minutes, in which time the broth cooled down significantly. I know the Düsseldorf place and can recommend, the Cologne one seems a mixed bag, and we...

We visited there about 6pm on a Friday evening, we were lucky to have a table without reservation. But for a big group it looks like a reservation would be necessary during busy hours. We ordered Gyoza to share as an appetizer. It was very tasty, with a crispy bottom and juicy and soft sheet. The filling was all pork meat. It would be nicer to have vegetarian options. I had the Tantan Ramen. It was exactly what I expected from a Tantan. It was spicy but not too much, with some pork and spring onions. The soup was very good, creamy with some chilli, had a rich taste. To the downside, the atmosphere was just okay. I can see it was beautiful inside before, but perhaps after all these years, they need...
