We visited Freddy Schilling – Die Hamburger Manufaktur today with our family and were absolutely delighted by the experience. As a vegan, I opted for the vegan burger and was thoroughly impressed by how flavorful and satisfying it was. The rest of my family also thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which speaks volumes about the quality and versatility of the food offered.

The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a family meal out. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable.

Still worth a visit, however not as impeccable as it used to be.

Service was borderline rude, pushy for us to finish looking at the menu. Mind you, there was no queue at all at the time of order. Kitchen staff didn't look quite motivated, which might have reflected in the burgers as well.

Although the meat is still the best you will find in Cologne and perfectly seasoned, the timing on the cooking was off: The Ziegenpeter was more than medium, the smash burgers not smashed / caramellized enough, with a hint of pink still.

The burgers are great nonetheless, as are the fries. Music is obnoxious as in any other burger place. We will definitely be back, hoping the above topics will be incidental, based on our 6/5 experiences...
