Ich bin ziemlich geteilter Meinung zu diesem Restaurant. Einerseits hat es etwas angenehm typisch Kölsches für uns Nichtkölner,andererseits könnte man noch einiges an Hygiene und Sauberkeit (insbesondere beim WC) verbessern. Im eher ländlichen Bereich hätte das Lokal un puncto Sauberkeit längst dicht gemacht werden müssen. Essen und Getränke waren mittelmäßig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Ich halte die Preise für überteuert. Bedienung (ich glaube, es waren die Inhaber) waren etwas derb, aber nett und auf ihre Art freundlich. Ich bekam jedoch mit, wie man sich ziemlich verächtlich mit Gästen über die gescheiterten Existenzen auf der Straße und Ausländer unterhielt, was ich beim Essen nicht als angenehm empfunden habe. Das Sitzen im Außenbereich fand ich super interessant, da es dort viel zu sehen gab. Allerdings gab es dort auch recht schockierende Szenen, wodurch ich ein bisschen verstehen konnte, warum der Wirt sich so verächtlich über bestimmte Mitmenschen äußerte. So war dort beispielsweise ein vermutlich Obdachloser mit offensichtlich körperlich geistigen Einschränkungen, der sich inmitten der Passanten mit bloßen Händen die Stirn blutig schlug, Leute anpöbelte und schließlich aufhörte,als er Geld erhielt und sich umgehend eine kleine Plastikflasche Wasser im benachbarten Kiosk holte. Diesbezüglich ist jedoch die Stadt Köln und die Gesellschaft insgesamt gefragt...

Loved our little stop over and the first experience of the German food! A little bit on the large side as far as portions go (not something to criticise), but very tasty! The Italian owner & staff were very polite and accommodating. Prices were really good too, offering a good value for money for an authentic meal at a short walk from the Cathedral! We would definitely go back if we will find ourselves in Cologne (Koln) again! Thank you!

I never give 1-star reviews but my experience was truly awful. I ordered a beer and took a seat at a table outside. After my first sip I saw a mouse going into the restaurant. Another customer told me that they had seen another mouse a few minutes before. Despite the waiters being advised, they did not care and kept working as if nothing had happened. I will never come back to this place.

We unfortunately decided to eat here on the 31st of October. The food was okay, I wouldn’t say great. There was also mice and rats running around while we were eating. The part that ruined our experience is how rude the server was. She took our menus away before we had ordered, and seemed like she didn’t even want to talk to us. Thankfully, another server stepped in gave us our menus back and took our order. The first server then brought the food to our table and PUSHED one of us out of the way to put the food on the table, no excuse me or anything. The whole rest of the meal she made snarky rude comments to us and was so aggressive. We were nothing but kind to her, said please and thank you, and still got treated like this. I then went to go pay so we could just get out of there and she was so rude she wouldn’t even take my money! She made me stand there while she just clearly ignored me. I have never in my life had this horrible of service. I highly suggest...

We have eaten here and the food was Ok, nothing to say about it. We wanted to pay by card an the machine "was broken" so we had to pay by cash. The bill was 41'40€ and we only had around 35 by cash between notes (25€) and 10 in coins. We gave the waiter all the money and my friend went to an ATM to withdraw the rest. The waiter forced me to stay on the table, eventough we volunteered to go to the ATM so we could pay by cash. When my friend came back, the waiter only counted the notes and not the rest of the coins and we were forced to pay 10€ more. I also hope the machine to pay by card was broken because the payment was not processing and he did not show me if the paymwent was...

The waitress was extremely rude. We were nothing but polite to her, she physically pushed me to get me out of her way, we accidentally dropped a knife and she threw her hands up, rudely gestured and gave us a dirty look, then when we went up to pay she yelled no at us and was just so mean for absolutely no reason. We said please and thank you more than necessary to get her to calm down but she was awful.
