FOOD & DRINKS The menu is very compact. The star of the show is definitely the pizza. You have some of the Italian classics as well as some specials. It is clearly not one of the pizza restaurants that offer a huge variety of pizzas but that is completely fine. When you have a compact menu you can concentrate on getting a few very good quality products instead of buying all sorts of things for cheap. We ordered 3 pizzas. Pizza Don Diablo, The Real Slim Tuna and the Angus Steak Pizza. The last one definitely was not only the most expensive but also the best pizza in this trio. With the Don Diablo you could taste the sweetness that was coming from the honey but it lacked the punch from the chili. It was not even mild. There wasn't one hint of chili unfortunately. The tuna was sashimi style tuna. Very slim raw tuna slices on top of lots of fresh spinach. I think the spinach easily overwhelmed the tuna making it being almost irrelevant. The pieces of steak on the steak pizza had a wonderful aroma, were cooked to about medium and still tender. Amazing when you eat it with the salty cheese. The black pepper was missing on the pizza though. There is one common theme for all three pizzas. Quality. You could taste the quality and freshness of all ingredients. If there is one thing I would nitpick on then it has to be the dough. That is just me though! It's super thin which I actually like but maybe a notch too thin? The toppings just made the dough soggy in seconds. Very hard to eat with hands only. That said the dough was fluffy, airy and light. Very good.

SERVICE The staff was friendly and nice. When we arrived we were the only guests but it took them more than 30 minutes to serve us the pizza. Not exactly 90 seconds to Napoli really? Sorry for the bad joke. They had a delivery order before they did our pizzas. Its not big of an issue.

ATMOSPHERE Very modern. Definitely NOT the stereo type of an Italian restaurant. If you prefer a classic old fashioned pizza restaurant for a date look somewhere else. If you want to go on a pizza date at a trendy, cool and modern location this is it.

RATING This is now my to go place for pizza around the area. I still have to try a lot more places in Düsseldorf but this one can easily compete with some of the very popular choices there. Its not cheap but I have had mediocre Italian dishes in authentic restaurants that were more boring and more expensive. Quality has its price. As long as they keep their standards high I think it is still fair. Pizza is also quite large. If you are not a big eater, you can easily share with someone else. I didn't gave 5 stars because I felt it didn't check all the boxes for me. Maybe with my next visit I will be...

Be carefull at this restaurant - On 02.11.2024, we (group of 8 people) decided to have something to eat at this restaurant. The food was fine, but the service was not good.

We had to wait for a long time to order our second drinks. Only after asking 3 staff members, we were helped further.

After our meal, we asked our waiter Ahmed for the bill.

We were not given the bill (with the details) but only the amount we had to pay through an ATM. We already found this strange and asked for the bill, but Ahmed refused to give it to us. Only after long insistence and after we paid, we finally got the bill.

To our surprise, we saw that there was a "drinking fee" of 31.20 euros. This was bizarre as we did not tip.

Ahmed also appeared to have disappeared.

When we went outside, we saw Ahmed and I confronted him about this.

Immediately, a blonde male colleague arrived and told him that this was "service charge" and common in Germany.

I said this was not usual and asked to show me where this was mentioned on their website or menu. Noticing that he could not answer this, he said this is "Common Sense". I said I had not yet seen this in any restaurant in Dortmund after which he dared to say that we should just not go to a restaurant if we could not afford it.

Outrageous, unfriendly staff and not afraid to rip you off.

Always check your bill, otherwise you could be scammed.

Always ask for the bill first.

Hopefully the owners will have a word with Ahmed and his male (young, blond and...

Food was served cold after almost 45 minutes of waiting, inevitably spending too much on drinks to pass the time. I do not recommend the cocktails, especially the martinis. 11€ for a less than decent Martini with a glass not even filled to the top is a joke. Drinks have no consistency, the same "50 shades of pink" came in 2 completely different versions. One came with the glass half full, the other one was filled decently but with much more soda than before. 16€ for a cold, burnt pizza is definitely not worth the hype, even tho the pizza tasted really good. Some staff was very unfriendly. Especially this one lady. I will never go there again and I do not recommend to go there on a busy day. I wanted to complain about my pizza being served cold, but noone bothered to react to my hand signs, so eventually I ate it. I don't like food waste anyways. Staff told me to complain next time I'll visit if the pizza is served cold again, there will be no next time tho. You shot your shot. My complaint was not taken...

This is one of the best pizzas outside of Italy that I tasted. If you don’t normally like crust you should love this one. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: DONT MAKE RESERVATION FOR 22:30. The place said it closed at 00:00 and online I was able to make a reservation for 22:30. I checked the website but it didn’t state anywhere what time the kitchen closes. We get there 22:28 and the waiter says we have 1 minute to order then the kitchen closes. We were not notified of this prior so we had to quickly scan the menu while the waiter looked at us. Also weren’t able to order desert after if we wanted to. While we were eating, around 23:00, the waiter randomly comes to us and says sorry we are actually closed can you pay now. The times of this restaurant are not communicated properly and this was very disappointing, especially for something that couldn’t been a 5/5 experience.
