I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brotbäckerei Elias Boulanger in Dresden, and I can confidently say this bakery is a gem! The aroma of freshly baked bread sets the stage for a truly delightful experience.
The sourdough maximalism here is nothing short of extraordinary. Each loaf is a work of art, showcasing a perfect balance of crusty exterior and soft, flavorful interior. The depth of flavor in their sourdough breads is unparalleled, with each bite revealing the mastery behind the fermentation process. You can truly taste the passion and dedication that goes into every batch!
What’s more, the Spanish influences in their offerings add an exciting twist! I highly recommend trying their pan con tomate and Serrano - it’s a perfect blend of fresh ingredients that transports your taste buds straight to Spain!
Overall, Brotbaexkerei Elias Boulanger is a must-visit for anyone in Dresden. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, treat yourself to their incredible sourdough creations and the delightful Spanish-inspired treats. I can't wait to...

The coffee isn't the best I tried, but definitely good considering the options in the city, because strong coffee isn't really a thing here. The pastry, that was a kind of cheesecake, was very similar to what you would find in Catalunya, as the owners of this chain are from Catalan origin, makes total sense. Overall, has my seal of approval as a south European. The worker didn't speak English, but we were able to understand each other and I was able to pay...
