This place promises more than it can provide.
We found this place through the Michelin guide where it has been awarded with the Bib Gourmand and therefore our expectations were high.
We came in to the nice dining area and were shown to our table by the friendly and welcoming staff.
We wanted to have 4 servings with wine pairing but stopped after 3.
In general the ambitions were high, but the quality didn't come through, neither the food or the wine which was stuck somewhere in the past decade.
The food was under seasoned to our taste. The meat was overcooked and the dishes plain and not well composed.
The staff didn't even know the grape or region of the wine they were serving and with their limited English we had not idea of what we were eating - this is of course not something we can expect in a German restaurant, but it just added to the negative experience.

We found this restaurant via Michiellen guide. The restaurant environment was relaxing. The staffs were super friendly and welcoming.
We got a welcoming dish from the kitchen. This was served with bread, truffle salt, duck and some greens. We really liked the welcoming starter.
We had liver and Giatchesse as starters. Both tasted delicious. Main dish were veal and duck beast. The meat was really well done and delicious.
Desserts were chocolate bar and mascaprone with mango sorbet. The choclote bar as decent. However the Mascaprone was an off for me. Texture was not great and personally felt that the desert tasted a bit cheap. Overall it was an...
