This restaurant left us with mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s a cozy and inviting place with a warm atmosphere and a nicely arranged interior — seemingly ideal for a relaxed, enjoyable dinner. On the other hand, organizational issues and service shortcomings noticeably affected the overall experience.
We ordered the Rinderfilet, rib-eye steak, and French fries. The fries were genuinely delicious — crispy, fresh, lightly seasoned, and served at the perfect temperature. The steak looked very appetizing: beautifully presented, with a perfect sear on the edges. The first few bites, especially from the outer part, were delightful — tender meat, rich flavor, and a great balance of textures.
Unfortunately, that initial enjoyment didn’t last. As we continued to eat, the meat became increasingly tough and flavorless, turning the dish into a disappointment. It honestly felt like we were eating two completely different steaks on the same plate.
A major downside was the lack of sufficient staff. Guests who were waiting for a table or to be helped were gathering right next to our table, and at times there were more than ten people standing just a step away from us. This made it hard to enjoy the meal, as the constant presence of waiting guests felt invasive and distracting — more like sitting in a hallway than in a proper dining area.
The total bill was €65.

Read moreA few of my friends recommended this place as a great place to get a steak. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a steak medium rare and received a medium to medium well steak. When I told the waitress that it was not cooked to my liking which was medium rare, she told me that my steak was indeed cooked medium rare but would get me a new steak. When she returned she told me again that the last steak was medium rare in which I asked her to please not argue with me as the steak was not medium rare not was it to standard. She then tried to tell me that that is what the restaurant decided was medium rare and that they would cook the steak rare for me. Um, what? By this time my friends had pretty much completed their meals. When the steak finally arrived it was again not to standard but I was not waiting for another steak so I ate it as I was very hungry. When she asked if it was to my liking I told her yes because to be honest I did not want to get into it. I just wanted to eat and get out of there. At the end they took off the bread basket and the butter as an apology for my friends and I not being able to eat together as they didn't cook my steak well... Twice. Which I might add cost maybe 2 euros. It was a disappointing experience and I doubt that I will be back. The fact that I'm basically being told I was wrong when I sent the steak back left a bad taste in my mouth. This place is what I would call a tourist trap with mediocre food at best. Read moreThe restaurant is located in a perfect place in front of the Frauenkirche. One of our main reasons for dining in was the name of the brand. Service was solid. Our dish was good. We can not give five stars because we waited approximately one hour (if not more) to get our meat. In the meantime, new guests came in, ordered drinks and mains and were served even before us. The server asked if we are fine, which was somewhat pathetic while still waiting. We ordered four steaks. One flanksteak, two rumpsteaks and one rib-eye-steak. As sides we ordered fries with onion sauce, they were good. A la carte says: „if there are no wishes, the meat will be cooked medium“. I asked to have all three medium and the rib-eye-steak should be medium-rare. Mine was fine but I guess the kitchen read that all should be medium-rare. Nevertheless it was still a delicious experience but to much No-Go‘s for five stars. At home I saw that they also charged us for a „Rauchsalzbrot mit Knoblauch“ which first; I did not ordered and second: did not get (?!).
