Watzke Wurstküche — Restaurant in Dresden

A solid 10 out of 10! The sausages were absolutely amazing, and the cold beers were just what we needed on a hot day. The waiter truly elevated our evening with exceptional service. It's rare to find waiters like him these days, and his fluent English and seamless management of the entire terrace were impressive. After serving our first round of beers, he took the time to inquire about our origins and proceeded to delight us with witty jokes in our native languages (Italian and Dutch).

Normally, we enjoy exploring different establishments during our two or three-night stays in a city. However, this visit has left us craving more, and we are highly likely to return today. The plate with three different sausages was outstanding, possibly the best we've had throughout our trip. The Mango Curry Sausage was particularly intriguing, and the cheese spinach sausage was a delightful surprise.

To the waiter: please stay just the way you are, and thank you for making our time in Dresden even...

Unnecessarily rude waiter – Visit during lunch on 08.04.25

There were two waiters serving us: a young gentleman, who was very nice and polite, and his slightly older colleague (possibly the headwaiter), with short hair and stubble, who unfortunately made us feel unwelcome. He made rude remarks and displayed poor manners, which was absolutely unnecessary.

At the end, when we were paying, he had the audacity to ask for a tip. I declined, and his only reaction was to leave without saying a word.

We have visited this place multiple times in the past and always had a good experience. Unfortunately, it seems that the standards and expectations for service have declined.

Very nice local restaurant with a lot of types "wurst" . It was really big suprise for us - very nice suprise

We tried special of the week - mango- kari wurst with fries and it was fantastic, somebody can say , it is only sausage, but not ! It was full of taste , full of ingredients, mango taste bring the meal to another level ! Yummy

Schnitzel with carrot and Edam was something what we try first time- and for sure not last time ! Nice dish.

Service was unbelievable, always taking care about us with almost full reastaurant.

Watzke wurstküche is very good choice ! Try it .
