Loved it - 100% recommended As a non-native, I went in with some concern on whether I would be able to communicate well. Pleasantly, one of them was very well-versed in Englishe and helped me place my order very easily. The food tasted amazing - So much that I contemplated to not try other burgers and stick to the one that I ordered. Cleanliness and atmosphere is very nice too. Candles and other lights set a very warm cozy mood. Looking forward to my next visit

The very good quality of the ingredients from which the food is prepared is definitely the biggest advantage of this bistro. Of course, the food is also delicious in taste and the service is friendly and the environment is very clean. The big surprise is rather that, despite the great quality, there were few guests at the time of our visit. A slight drawback is that they only have soft drinks for sale and no beer.

Erst mal vorweg der Besitzer ist mal richtig nett und gut drauf. So fĂŒhlt man sich als Kunde sofort willkommen und gerne gesehen. Und das sogar kurz vor Feierabend. Wir sind extra von weiter weg gekommen weil wir mal was neues testen wollten und das hat sich gelohnt. Preislich absolut fair und die Ware ist alles frisch kein fertig Fleisch oder so z.b. beim Burger. Auch ist es eine ehrlich kleine Karte und nicht 1000 Sachen sondern lieber auf ein paar Gerichte den Focus gelegt und dafĂŒr aber hochwertig. FĂŒrs erste mal haben wir uns die Currywurst genommen mit Pommes und da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Die Soße ist lecker pikant und stimmig zur Wurst. Die Pommes schmeckten frisch und kein StĂŒck nach friteuse, und waren auch echt knusprig. (Ich bin ein Salz Fan daher kleine Salz TĂŒten wĂ€re nett 🙈) Der Laden selber ist super gepflegt und man kann sich auch bedenkenlos hinsetzen und dort essen in ruhiger AtmosphĂ€re. Die Optik gefĂ€llt mir sehr gut aber das sieht ja jeder anders ich finde das passt richtig und mir gefĂ€llt das rustikale halt. Die Preise sind fĂŒr DĂŒsseldorf tatsĂ€chlich Recht gĂŒnstig finde ich, und das fĂŒr komplett frische Ware. Wir kommen gerne noch mal wieder und testen die Burger und die Erfindung des Chefs...

After a long, exhausting day at Koelnmesse, my colleague and I set off on a noble quest: to find a quiet, cozy spot for dinner. What we didn’t expect was to stumble upon a hidden gem just behind our hotel (the Holiday Inn Express at the central station). Only a five-minute stroll through a serene residential area led us to a delightful surprise. This little eatery offers burgers that are as fresh as they come—pressed, grilled, and juicy, just how nature intended. Not to mention, there’s something for everyone: schnitzel options (both classic and modern twists), and even vegetarian. But here’s the kicker: the peacefulness. It was so quiet and calm, you’d think we had entered a Zen temple for foodies. No blaring music, no chaotic chatter—just us, our plates, a couple of young lovebirds a couple of tables away, and the soft sound of our contentment. The end of a hectic workday never tasted so good. Prices? Average. The experience? Beyond average. We left full, satisfied, and already...

Wow.

Wasn’t not expecting to stumble upon this Gem of a German Burger experience.

My Cheeseburger was hot, made to order, and the fries were noteworthy.

Got their before the evening rush and good thing.

It’s a one man operation.

He takes your order, cooks your food, he brings to the table, you pay him when finished.

Very efficient operation.

So imagine instead of a pickle on your burger you get a cucumber slice. That’s the difference here.

By the time we left, this place was full of patrons.

This man deserves success.

Come here and try out his menu.

Rare 5 Stars from me.
