Takumi 4th Loretto — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

FOOD & DRINKS If you have been at Takumi 3rd Chicken & Veggie on Klostersr. then this won’t be much different. I picked the TanTan Ramen in a set with the Teriyaki Chicken. Both were good. Not amazing but very decent. I even prefer my small bowl of rice & chicken over the ramen to be honest. Unfortunately they were out of my favorite, the Mala Paitan Ramen.

SERVICE Very good & friendly service provided by the Japanese staff.

ATMOSPHERE It’s small, cozy and with the blue accent a bit different from the other Takumis in town.

Food is great- it is ramen after all. But the waiters can be very rude. They tell you to collect points by ordering 10 and 20 different ramen from them to get free starters at 10 Ramen ordered and one free Ramen at 20. Yet when you show them their own card with the points they get a panic attack and try everything not to give you what is promised. Now they have also added 1 euro to take away your ramen ( ridiculous since the cheapest ramen is around 13-14€). The reason for these charges on the pack? Because they are “environmental friendly”. Japanese migrants complain about the price of Ramen and Sushi abroad yet they charge so much for it).

I guess this is only branch of Takumi that you do not need to wait in long que but actually location is not bad because it is 5-10 min by walking from Rehin Tower.
