Unfortunately, my first and last order was a complete rip-off. I have ordered a the Beef Ribs, a Cheese Burger, a Truffle Cheese Burger and a Truffle Tagliatelle, according to the description both with fresh truffle shavings.
Obviously, none of those 2 items has ever seen anything similar to fresh truffle. They had loads of truffle oil and truffle sauce.
Moreover, all the food apart from the Beef Ribs came extremely cold. I'm not talking about lukewarm, I'm talking about cold, as if it was standing on a counter for over 20 minutes.
The packaging of the food was also dreadful and the burgers arrived looking like a slaughterhouse.
Apart from being cold and not having any fresh truffle shavings as promised on the menu description, the pasta was way too overcooked, just like the burgers. Most of the food ended up in the bin.
The french fries went straight to the bin as well, as they were completely cold.
The only thing we ate, were the ribs, that were very salty, but at least tender and lukewarm. After waiting for about 1 hour delivery, we were also hungry.
The whole mean costed €54. When confronted with the complains and the misleading description, they offered a €10 discount and promised fresh truffle was used, but probably not enough.
I asked to, instead of the €10, to send the dish again with fresh truffle. They refused (probably because there was no fresh truffle anywhere near that kitchen).
A complete rip-off. Either you want to be fancy and deliver what you promise or just go back to doing the basics well and don't mislead your costumers and especially, don't lie to...

The Bronx Bar is a great place to go for a drink and a bite to eat in Düsseldorf. T. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the staff is always happy to help.
The bar has a wide selection of drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails. The food menu is also extensive, with something to suit everyone's taste. I had the burger, which was delicious.

In Flingern-Süd gelegen, ist The Bronx Bar mehr als einen visuell-auditiven (Style&Music) als auch kulinarischen Besuch wert. Die Bar ist adäquat möbliert und wirkt auch aufgrund der Tapeten ein wenig wie Grannys Wohnzimmer. Eine teilweise funkyige Mischung aus Black Music rundet diese Bar mehr als ab. Die folgende kulinarische Schilderung bezieht sich nur auf die Bürger, während Bowls und andere Speisen unberücksichtigt bleiben müssen : Die Auswahl an homemade Burgern wie dem pulled beef burger, dem tuna oder halloumi burger sowie wechselnden Tagesburgern wie der Dreifaltigkeit (drei miniburger) ist hinreichend groß und deutet auf eine handwerkliche Küche hin. Die Preise für Burger liegen dabei zwischen circa 9 und 13 Euro, während die french fries ungefähr 2 Euro kosten und von Soßenpreisen bis 1,50 begleitet werden. Alle Preise scheinen hinsichtlich der Qualität wirklich angemessen zu sein. Nach mehrfachem Besuch mit unterschiedlichen Zusammenstellungen hat sich gezeigt, dass die Patties handgemacht, frisch und in Größe oder Varianz für jeden Burger passend sind. Die Fritten jeglicher Art sind gut, wenn auch nicht zu stark oder spezielle gewürzt. Es bleibt stets der burger im Mittelpunkt. Die Soßenauswahl ist mehr als angemessen und jede Soße ist handmade... Dies sieht und schmeckt man, besonders bei der Wasabi-mayo oder der Trüffel-mayo. Bei unseren Besuchen haben wir auch Vorspeisen (chili-cheese-fries) und ein Dessert (schokotarte aka brownie) probiert. Trotz guter Qualität und Geschmack bleiben die Burger unser Grund eines Besuches. Abschließend muss bei dieser Rezension der Service gewürdigt werden : Während beim ersten Besuch eine sehr reservierte junge Damen alleine den Service leistete (unter der Woche), hatten wir nun, an einem Samstag, zwei jüngere Herren, die durch Ihre lockere und teilweise "chaotische" Art der Bronx Bar einen zusätzlichen Style verliehen. Allerdings muss auch die Beratung hinsichtlich der Auswahl wirklich gelobt werden, da es bei diesen Gesprächen nicht um möglichst viel Umsatz, sondern um echten Meinungsaustausch und Empfehlung ging.
