Măm Măm Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Erfurt

We recently visited the Vietnamese restaurant in Erfurt, and I have to say, the food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was packed with flavor, from the rich and aromatic pho to the fresh, crispy spring rolls. You can really taste the care and authenticity in each bite – it’s clear they use fresh ingredients and stick to traditional recipes.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was also fantastic. It’s cozy and welcoming, with a really relaxed vibe that made the whole dining experience feel special. Whether you’re seated inside or out on their terrace, it’s a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

I was excited to try the Asian cuisine at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The dishes we received were large in portion but lacked distinct flavors, with everything tasting quite similar. As someone who is very familiar with authentic Asian cuisine, I found this quite surprising.

The noodles were overcooked and clumped together into a single, inedible mass.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter, mentioning that the food didn’t taste authentic or enjoyable, I was met with a rude response, suggesting that the problem was with my taste, not their dishes. This dismissive attitude made the experience even worse.

This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Even better now that they updated the decor. Nam is a lovely person and knows how to treat his customers. Their pork stomach and spicy beef dishes are superb! So much flavor! His parents have really brought flavor to Erfurt. Reminds me of restaurants in Vietnamese communities I visited in NYC and Houston.
