Ristorante Roma — Restaurant in Erfurt

If it were possible, I'd rate the restaurant and the experience in general 0/5. We were there twice, once to eat and once to get some drinks. The food is terrible. Not even close to actual Italian dishes. My pizza tasted like cardboard. There are better restaurants in Erfurt. The service is even worse. The waiters are very rude and impolite. We went there today and my friend ordered a milkshake, whereas I hadn't recieved the correct menu yet, so I had to wait to order. In about 10 minutes the waiter came back, so I got to order and got my order 5-10 minutes later. My friend had yet to recieve her milkshake. My "iced tea" came in an unwashed glass and it contained 25% "Lipton Iced Tea- Peach" and 75% water (and half a slice of orange)- so basically a barely flavoured water. Cut to at the very least 30 Minutes later, my friend had yet to recieve her milkshake (even though we clearly saw people coming in later than us and recieve their orders in a few minutes), so we decided to just pay for "iced tea" and leave. We had to tell the waiters thrice that we wanted to pay, so an axtra 10 minutes of waiting time and when our waiter finally came to us he said: "you had ordered a milkshake and an iced tea" so I told him that despite the almost 50 Minute wait her milkshake never came to our table. The guy got angry and started explaining us as to how busy the place was, so the milkshake would take some time. Again, we are not blind, we saw people getting their milkshakes and whatever else they ordered in a matter of minutes. Hence why my friend said that we'd waited long enough already, so we'd like to pay and leave. Then the waiter found it okay to "ban" us from the restaurant and to go to MC Donald's, because we were not cut for the restaurant. This whole thing happened outside, where the table next to us got to hear everything (her iced coffee didn't look so good either, way too thin of a consistency- so probably diluted with water as well). Well, I would like to say that the MC Donald's milkshakes cost a fraction of the price, are prepared within 2-3 Minutes AND taste better that whatever this restaurant has to offer. Won't be setting foot there again and wouldn't recomend anyone...

As a Cook myself the food wasn't that bad, considering a lot of restaurants here serve frozen food.But there was no service at all. The waiter was chewing a gum while taking the order. They kept talking like we owned them money (at least the one who served us).As i said no service at all they just put things on the table not to mention that the knife was bent. On top of all of that we got "robbed" as we got served tap water you could tell because the bottle cap wasnt clipped and they just left it on the table as we couldn't see it.Few minutes later he started cleaning the table next to me with a napkin to clean it very inappropriate for a restaurant.And to sum up the waiter winked at me as I called for the receipt very unprofessionally for a restaurant, even at local fast foods I've felt more welcomed.So don't get tricked by the name.Italians are really respectful for costumers and their restaurants as Italian food represents their culture.At least to me they've been welcoming and very friendly.Personally I want quality so I don't consider quantity or the speed in serving and that's why it isn't called a fast food but a restaurant.So that's an offensive restaurant to represent the ITALIAN CLASS and HOSPITALITY.Very dissapointed with some restaurants here in...

Was soll ich sagen.... Hätte ich nur das Essen zu bewerten hätte ich wohl 4 Sterne gegeben. Wie es wahrscheinlich schon erkenntlich ist war das Essen garnicht mal so schlecht, aber das Ambiente und der Service bringen das ganze dann doch eher Richtung Enttäuschung.

Das Ambiente

Von außen Hui von innen.....

Das Lokal sieht von außen mitten auf dem Erfurter Anger echt toll aus, ist aber innen schon in die Jahre gekommen. Die Möbel wirkten abgenutzt und durchfesessen und das Besteck hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Aber das ganz wurde von dem "Parmesan" Käse auf dem Tisch übertroffen der schon kurz vor der Auferstehung stand dank mangelnder Kühlung.

Der Service

Im Eingangsbereich noch typisch italienisch aber dann...

Als wir an unserem Tisch Platz genommen haben bekamen wir unsere Speisekarte (eine Grundreinigung empfohlen). Nun kam das Highlight des Besuches, der Kellner. Wir haben typisch deutsch versucht unsere Speisen mit den in der Karte befindlichen Namen zu bestellen. Dies wurde mit "... Bitte nicht die Namen sonder die Zahlen" quittiert..... Bin ich hier beim Asiaten?? Wie dem auch sei... Schnell Karte auf und Nummern gesucht. Wer jetzt dachte es sei vollbracht sei getäuscht.... Nun würde Namen zu den Nummern mit tiefer Verunsicherung... Also Karte auf und nochmal gegengeprüft. Glück gehabt alles richtig. Nach ein paar Minuten kamen zumindest schon einmal die Getränke von einem neuen Kellner der glaube ich zum ersten Mal in seinem Leben als Kellner fungierte. Nun kam unser Kellner mit 5 Gläsern billig Aperol Spritz (wir waren 4). Nun ja 4 da gelassen und er zog los. Nun wird es interessant.. Der Kellner lief hinter eine Säule und exte das 5. Glas des...

Dies wekte mein Interesse... Dieses Spiel wurde von dem Kellner auch an den Nachbartischen vollzogen was dafür sorgte das er gut einen Sitzen hatte.

Nun kam unser Essen.... Dank seines guten Levels kam er nun 3 mal zu Guten Appetit sagen vorbei (in 90 Sekunden).

Ich könnte noch ewig weiter schreiben aber dies würde den Rahmen hier sprengen.

Das Essen

Nun ja wie oben schon erwähnt war es ganz gut nur leider war mein Rotkraut/ Blaukraut auf "angenehmer" Kühlschrank Temperatur. Dank des Levels des Kellners verzichtete ich auf eine Reklamation. Nach dem Hauptgang entschied ich mich für ein Dessert.... nach 20 minütige bettelei entschied man sich meine Bestellung aufzunehmen und Dank der Erfahrung vom Anfang hatte ich auch die richtige Namen=Nummern Kombination. Leider bereute ich meine Wahl nach dem ersten bissen. Was ich da erhalten hatte war etwas was von einem Tiramisu soweit entfernt war wie amerikanisches Bier von Bier.

Fazit

Für mich definitiv keine Empfehlung und ein erneuter Besuch ist...
