Café Under Pressure — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Late review, was there few weeks ago: It was a strange experience for me. I read many positive reviews and wanting a good espresso I headed there.

The espresso in itself was good. Well prepared and rightly timed. They served it with a glass of water which was really good. Then I noticed they had bullet proof coffee and ordered it.

The owner (I believe) told me how much it costed without me asking for the price. It was the way how he told me that, which left a bad taste. It was almost condescending way and not as a matter of fact manner. Plus his expression while saying it was as not positive. The barista (lady) behind the counter also felt uncomfortable the way he spoke.

I did not notice this only with me, but with few others as well. He curtly told someone about taking the coin off the counter (though he was not wrong in saying it maybe due to hygiene but the tone could have been way different).

The product is not bad at all maybe why people rate it high and maybe his intention was not to be rude but I definitely felt insulted with the tone.

Café Under Pressure is a cosy little spot with a laid-back vibe, ideal for a quiet coffee break. The coffee here is smooth and well-made, though personally I found it a bit on the mild side—if you prefer a bolder, stronger brew, it might not quite hit the mark.

There’s a limited selection of hot food, so it’s not the place for a full meal, but it’s decent for light bites or a pastry alongside your drink.

Worth noting: it’s a one-man operation, so service can be on the slower side, especially when it gets busier. That said, the barista is friendly and clearly passionate about the craft, which adds to the charm.

Great for a relaxed stop, especially if you’re not in a rush.

From classic espresso shots to specialty cappuccinos, this cafe has it all. The coffee was brewed to perfection, and the baristas clearly took pride in their craft.

Aside from the coffee, the bakery offerings were simply delightful. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the products was evident in every bite.

The seating was comfortable. The WC was well-maintained and well-stocked with all the amenities one might need.
