Poor customer service:

1. Asked waiter about wine after seating, waiter never returned.
2. Manager came to take wine and food order after 15 minutes, never returned after pouring wine.
3. Was delivered food by female wait staff and no wait staff came back to check on meal, never checked on water, never checked on wine.
4. Wait staff, cooks, and manager were busy cleaning up during and after meal so had to ask another server for take away help and for bill.
5. When finally asked about meal, at time of payment, the server stated "can't do anything now as the meat was consumed". Refer back to point #3

Poorly cooked meal:

1. Ordered the 40 day aged T-bone (740 grams) cooked medium. The cooks were in a hurry so received a charred, partially well done, partially medium, partially medium rare steak. The filet portion, supposed to be the most tender and flavorful portion was actually the driest and most well done portion. The one piece of steak that was medium actually had decent flavor, but the other portions of steak were covered in black char from cooking too long over direct flame. For a 140 EUR, one SHOULD expect a higher quality preparation and cooking.

Overall, for 177 EUR or $210 USD, this place should have better customer service and better cooking.

My visit was highly anticipated, especially for the renowned dry-aged steak, which, at a steep 168 euros, set my expectations high. Unfortunately, the steak itself was a letdown. It lacked the characteristic beefy flavor and tenderness one expects from dry-aged beef, suggesting it might have been cooked in a crowded pan or covered, which gave it a stewed rather than a grilled texture.

On the brighter side, the sides and service did shine through. The mashed potatoes were velvety smooth, and the presentation of the dish was nothing short of beautiful. The staff were attentive and made the dining experience pleasant despite the main course's shortcomings.

The Taste Twelve offer brought me here. I have to admit I was weary of having a nice dinner at the airport... Flavors was outstanding in the service and steak! Amazing! Juiciest and most flavorful tenderloin I have had in Frankfurt (having been to Ojo de Agua and The Lodge steakhouses). However what left more to be desired were the side dishes. I must also add that the restaurant is a bit overpriced for its offering (blame it on the high rent of the airport). All in all, I would love to have these Cooks in the inner city for the amazing steak but I am not sure if coming all the way to the airport...
