THE FIFTH, Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I was apprehensive to come after reading the terrible reviews online, but feeling a bit too lazy to wander from the comfort of my airport hotel. My server, Noel, was super professional, polite, friendly, and helpful in adjusting my meal, not to mention his perfect English. I was trying to modify a hamburger and he suggested a different one which was actually a better choice for me. Also, when I asked to replace the fries with a salad, he thought about it and said he’s pretty sure he can make it happen and indeed he did. The burger was delicious as was the small salad. I had only sparkling water to drink, so I can’t comment on cocktails. Given that it’s the lobby of an airport hotel with sports on TVs and slightly annoying music, the ambience isn’t great, but the warm lighting and high ceilings/open space are lovely, and the lobby, stylish. The real highlight of our stay, though, was The Fifth Lounge & Bar, located just across from reception. It’s a wonderful place to relax around dinnertime with cocktails, great food, and even catch a game on their huge screen. Special shoutout to TAREK (bartender) and DANIEL (supervisor)—they are absolute stars! Their service was top-notch, always smiling and attentive, even when the bar was packed. They run that bar flawlessly!

The supporting team who brought out food and assisted were also fantastic. Everyone made us feel truly at home. Many of them speak multiple languages, including Spanish and Portuguese, which made the experience even more personal and welcoming.

We spent all four nights of our stay winding down at the bar after exploring the city, and it honestly became the heart of our trip. Love this bar.

The staff here is just super! Their customer passion is off the hook! I stop in here whenever I’m booked in at the Hilton or Garden Inn at the Frankfurt airport.

No really, you need to check this out.

It’s typically busy, but my experience has been I’m like the only one here. That’s a special thing you know? If you have to be away from family, this is a wonderful place and team to have!

Just wanted to shout out the team here for such a great evening. If there was a Jedi master bartender, Jaunita would be one! But I have to say both Ronald and Tarek were stellar as well.

It takes a village for just about anything and these folks are incredible. The energy they bring is crazy good!
