Totally recommend the place for French pastry. They are fresh and tasty. The macaroons are amazing as well. The only problem with the pastry is that it is quite expensive... When it come to lunch though, the quality is not so high neither for the food itself or for the service. I had a tomato soup, which seemed like a canned soup and then a warm sandwich which was not that bad. However they brought me the soup and the warm sandwich at the same time , although the latter was supposed to be as the second dish and had to eat it cold. On the other side, for the sandwich of my friend, we had to wait quite a lot. I had already finished both my soup and sandwich in the meantime...

Compared to the portions of food it was pricey. The menu exactly described what will be in the meal and that’s all. The bread basket contained mostly Toast, therefore the variety was to my preference very limited. We had to wait for quite a while before we could order; after ordering we needed to wait another long while until the food was served, meanwhile, customers at next table who came and ordered later got everything before us. It was kind of confusing and honestly not so comfortable. // 2025/05 We came again spontaneously with our baby. This time the experience was great. Good food, nice service. Most of all, there is space to change diapers. Really appreciated it.

I went this Café for Paris Brest but they don't sell it anymore, also I couldn't find Apple Strudel so I bought a pistachio croissant but it was overpriced (5,20€) for it's texture and it's taste, it wasn't fresh and was a bit heavy. The staff was nice but that was it so I don't think I'm gonna go again. Disappointed...

I had very different experiences at this place. I came here many times to buy some pastry and little tarts. The pastry was very tasty and a man at the counter polite and helpful. Yesterday, I came with a friend to have a quick coffee and bite here. Once we stepped in and asked if we can take a seat outside and if we have to order inside or at the table, the lady at the counter told us to wait until someone will accompany us to the table. Well, we are in Germany at a bakery and not in the USA at a restaurant, but fine, we can wait. In the next 5 minutes nobody even looked at us. We asked a waiter where we can take a seat, he told us, whenever we like. We took a seat outside. In 15 minutes nobody has arrived. My friend waived to the waiter through the window and he finally came over. We placed an order and the waiter put two laminated menus at the table as the placemats in front of me and my friend. That was so disgusting: we are in the middle of pandemic and I am fine with clean table and table cloth or disposable placemat, but not with the plastic menu (which everybody is touching and I do not know who is cleaning) under my dishes. Then we had to wait for another fifteen minutes for our coffee. Ten minutes after the beverages arrived there was still no food at the table. My friend started waiving to the waiter again and after a long wait out pastry arrived. Since it took so long with waiting to be accompanied to the table, waiting to place an order and waiting for the beverages and food, we asked if we can pay right away, because we were in hurry. The waiter said yes and left. We waited for another ten minutes, nobody has arrived. Then my friend told to another waiter that we want to pay immediately. After 5 minutes our waiter showed up. It took us more than an hour to wait for everything: to take a seat at a table, to make an order, to get our beverages and the (already prepared) pain au chocolat and quiche, and finally to pay for our order. Was the pastry delicious? Yes. Was the service acceptable? No. Will I come again?...

This was one of my favorite places in town, but it is really sad and disappointing to see how it is becoming one of the worse places in town.I went yesterday for brunch. First, I must say that the service is terrible. They don’t clean up the tables, the whole restaurant is in chaos, and they don’t take your order unless you insist them for at least 3 times. We had to wait one hour to receive our food, and oh no, to our surprise the food was super cold... so we had to send it back to the kitchen. I also ordered the mango mojito. the “mojito” came without mango, no mint and in a half glass of wine. I tasted it and it basically pure rum with lemon and water, disgusting. After I complained they told me that they ran out of mango juice, nevertheless they decided to send to me, probably thinking that I will not realize it? The whole joke of the drink I think costed me 8 euro. To my surprise they have also reduced significantly the size of the cappuccino cups and they charge the same as before. The whole experience was awful, and I don’t think I am coming back anymore. The only thing nice about this place is the location, for that they...

I agree to Mr Ulrich and Mr Alexe. The lady at the cash counter is very rude and does not maintain any hygienic standards. Her mask is never on her nose properly, even when she is sounding to have cold. She always behaves very rude when taking orders, not only to me but I observed with other customers as well she behaved the same way...no matter how sweetly the other person approaches her. It used to be my favorite place in town and I took my best friend there for a coffee. He paid in cash but the same lady gave 10 euros less which we immediately realized when we saw her eyes that something was wrong. We counted and asked her to give us the receipt and later without any apology she gave us back upon asking. In another recent encounter with her, she was busy greeting and entertaining some friends of her for 5-10 mins tht had visited the bakery that day but she didn't care that there were customers waiting in queue for "to go" orders. Such a lovely backery but unfortunately these incidents will make it loose its...
