Worscht Company — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I love currywurst. First time I had it was in Berlin a number of years ago, and since then, I search for the best reviewed place in every German city I visit. Hamburg and Munich were major disappointments, but I heard good things about Frankfurt. These people were right. The currywurst here is excellent. Now, I don't know if the use of pork is the most important point, for when I got this tip, I never tried anything else in Frankfurt. It does marry well with the sauce. Worscht Company allows the customer to dial in the taste to match their wants. They have 10 separate levels of spice, and one can control the amount of curry powder. We got close the first visit, and the second visit nailed my flavor preference. All along the frites were excellent. French fries are nearly universally better in Europe than the US, so I expected this. Something about the differences in preparation here even make mayo the choice over ketchup. (btw in US, I don't use ketchup unless they're steak fries, which I don't care for). Now we get to the reason I came here in back-to-back days: the lady who works here. When I say "we" dialed in the flavor for me, I really mean she did. I wish I knew her name, but her friendliness, conversation, and care keeps a business like this afloat. If I lived here, this would be my place. The food is good, but there's another place nearby that's also good. This place has beer and this wonderful lady. Been looking for good curry wurst and I may have thought the fancier places would win it but it's been pretty disappointing. The know now that this is a meal to be eaten casually; like street food. The person serving me know some English but she tried her best to communicate. She was nice and friendly and put together a pretty good feed for us. It's the best curry wurst in town no doubt, I recommend sticking to level 6, I got level 7 and it was delicious don't get me wrong but it was painful when you finished. Best customer service experience I've had as a foreigner visiting Germany! Both of the ladies at the service counter where very friendly, and our helper went above and beyond giving us not only a very detailed description of our various options, but the food was top notch as well! Loaded fries with a healthy portion of both mayonnaise, curry powder, and dried grilled onions 😍 10/10...
