This place is an example of the lowest quality of customer service, arrogant staff and restaurant that doesn’t know what cooking is.
So I ordered Palak paneer and the waiter served me boiled spinach which was cooked with some salts and oil in it, nothing less or more in it. And guess what? it was just spinach and not a single cube of paneer in it. Upon reminding the waiter of my order, he asked me to wait for a couple of minutes. The waiter never came back nor changed my dish, I went to the cash counter and requested them again to change my dish because my friends had already started eating their food and I was waiting for about 15 minutes for the change that never occurred. The people at the counter told me that palak paneer is over but they would get it prepared for me, so I waited again for about 10 minutes after which someone came with some cubes of “paneer”, and told me to put inside the palak and eat it. I told them that doesn’t work like that, I can’t put paneer in an already cooked spinach and just it raw like that. Moreover the panner was pale and it would probably break my teeth if I tried to bite them. So I refused to take it and sent it back and just at the roti.
When we finished eating and went to pay at the counter they charged me for palak paneer in the bill. I told them I did not have palak paneer so why would I pay for it? The entire staff of about 5 people then started shouting and abusing me for refusing to pay. Their language was worst than a road side eatery, and abuses that came are unmentionable here in the review. I still stood my ground and told them that they could do whatever they wish but I will not pay for something I did not eat. Almost 5 of them started intimidating me and I still stood my ground. I told them I can call the police if they would like to settle the case, upon listening to the word police they got even more hyper and threatened me again. Finally after about 30 minutes of arguments and abuses that they hurled they agreed to cut the bill.
And guess what happened next? The next customer who were lined to pay, also argued about not paying for an item because they had ordered Kadai Chicken but were served Chilli chicken. Wow! and they fought with them too!
This was my first visit to this restaurant and hopefully god never takes me to this place again.
A message to the restaurant/ I have reported your place to concerned authorities for unruly behavior and also for not following Covid Measures, about 4 of the waiters were not wearing masks nor was there any hand disinfectants available. The food was also not covered. So all the best, karma will get to you, I hope you learn your lesson and be good humans if not good...
Read moreSince its refurbishment, this place has taken a dramatic nosedive off a cliff. While the updated decor looks great, the food has become a complete and utter disaster.
This restaurant once served the best chicken tikka and tikka masala in Frankfurt—no contest. The chicken used to be beautifully marinated, with large, succulent pieces showcasing a vibrant red marinade that penetrated deep into the meat. Each bite was a burst of flavor and tenderness.
Now, those glory days feel like a distant memory. The chicken has transformed into a bland, off-yellow mess that offers no flavor and requires an exhausting amount of chewing. What was once a standout dish is now a chore to eat.
It’s genuinely heartbreaking to see the food fall into such neglect. The refurbishment may have breathed new life into the look of the place, but it has sucked the soul right out of the kitchen. An enormous shame.
I hope the owners read this review and bring back their once much loved classics as...
Read moreI today ordered food and I must say it was a very disappointing experience. I ordered Haleem, Chicken Karahi, and Naans. Unfortunately, the food was of extremely poor quality despite being quite expensive.
The Chicken Karahi was particularly bad — the chicken was undercooked and had a foul smell, making it completely inedible. It seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned or cooked properly. The Haleem lacked flavor and was overly greasy. Even the Naans, which are usually a safe bet, were tasteless.
Given the price I paid, I expected a much better standard of food. Instead, it felt like a complete waste of money. I couldn’t eat most of what I ordered and had to throw it away. It was a very frustrating experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Sadly, this place failed on both taste and quality. I will definitely not be ordering...
