Nice place to try Indian dishes! - that's the most simplest review to write about this place. There are so many places in Frankfurt to try "Indian food" but what's so special about this place? Firstly, the ambience is really good, very clean and well maintained. The toilets are neat and clean. Next, the service - very kind and prompt service (at least the person who came to serve us was really kind and sweet). Not like some places where they take the order, serve the food and come back for the bill - nothing like this. They made sure the food was alright for us and if there was anything more to add from our side, etc. Finally, the food - where do I begin?! After trying all the "famous" Indian restaurants (kinda fed up) in and around Frankfurt, we wanted to try something "different" from the usual but "Indian" and thus came the option of "trying" at eatDOORI. It was not disappointing at all, infact really appreciate the taste. We were having problems with very "Spicy Indian food" and the aftermath of "acidity" and excessive burping of all the spices that was in the food (which is actually NOT AT ALL GOOD!). We ordered Desi Chicken and Samosas for starters, Chicken Tikka Tadka for main course which came along with Basmati rice and for drinks - homemade Nimbu Pani and Mango Lassi. The star of the show was the "Achar" that was complimentary, along with the food. The best part was even though it is all Indian food, nothing was very hot or too much spicy. Now, clearing out 'hot' and 'spicy' - hot means the spice factor and spicy means the amount of different kinds/types of Indian spices used in preparing the dish. It is NOT the literal meaning of hot = blazing/flaming/sizzling and spicy = peppery/chillie. Most of the Indian restaurants have too much usage of Indian spices and this makes the dish mostly piquant (which is good, in a way) and this eventually causes acidity (not so good!) and this is exactly where there was a distinguishing difference with eatDOORI and other restaurants. Coming to the food that we ordered, 1. Desi chicken was tender and juicy. Very crispy outer coating, very moist and soft meat and it had the real flavour and the original taste of "Chicken 65" which is the actual description given for the dish. 2. Samosas - the usual samosa. I'm not sure if it's made in real time but it tasted very fresh and nothing of a "pre-cooked" or "ready-made" samosa (which is the case in most other restaurants). I had added "Chat it up" which was an option. It's another version of the Indian "Samosa chat" which was indeed very tasty and almost authentic but not very spicy (it was just perfect!). Worth the try and the chat option was just perfect! 3. Chicken Tikka Tadka - this was good. A semi-gravy with soft chicken bites mixed in an Indian gravy with some onions. It was the usual but not too spicy and equally tasty. 4. Mango lassi was the usual but Nimbu Pani was good. It was soda but had a good taste of real lemonade/lime juice but Indian version. This place is "apt" for Germans to try. Very promising place that our taste buds will enjoy and love it. Equally good for people like me (Indian, but can't tolerate too much spice and heat!). I will definitely try this place, the next time I come here to Frankfurt. Infact, we've been here once long back (probably 3 years ago!) but this time hit different. There's takeaway and delivery available. Brunch, lunch and dinner options are available. Prices are very nominal and decent. Parking, sometimes difficult to find a place to park but free of charge to park in street.

Below average food compared to the other Indian restaurants in frankfurt, they are in a good location and thats it. The waitress will you give you an impression that she is not there to cater 'Indian customers but only the locals or firangis'.I had made a reservation and 15 mins before 17.30 went inside and said hello to the waitress who was in the front. She plainly ignored me and smiled at the people who were coming behind me,i waited there patiently for another 5 mins and another guy asked me finally what am i looking for,he showed me the seats and after taking the orders he just disappeared and had to always look around for someone to order water or some extra rotis, the waiter appeared later saying that we need to move as they have other reservations and i knew he want his tips , the food is just ok and nothing extra ordinary as per the ratings in google, the base is the same and the lamb chunks used were pretty old and the chiken tikka was no where near the real tikka preparation, was my first visit and probably the last.

eatDOORI is a surprise in Frankfurt to relish authentic North Indian cuisine. Simple indoor seating with attentive staff serving with a smile. Veg Pakora is a batch of crisp mixed vegetable fritters in chickpea batter. This is served hot with a mango chutney. Worth a try as an appetiser. Dal Makhani is rich & has subtle flavours of tempered garlic. Best paired with plain rice to savour the taste of dal. Tried Holy Paneer, which is a sweet & rich gravy of tomatoes + cashews with a few cubes of fresh cottage cheese. This is best paired with a Butter Naan or another leavened bread. Mango lassi was a refreshingly luscious drink. If you are super hungry, one serving is equivalent to a one drink meal. Lastly, for dessert Mango Cream MIT Kokos-EIS is an interesting take on mango & coconut ice cream in a short glass. Do visit eatDOORI when you are celebrating a special occasion or having a good time with family.

PATHETIC REPELLING STRICT NO

NEVER AGAIN

This was my favourite joint in Frankfurt to have Indian food for its quality , taste and location (being so close to Frankfurt Hbf) The veg biryani / Handi pulao Raita The Naan with paneer gravy etc were all my sort of must haves here. In the past one year I have visited this place for at least 4 times after a span or few months and found that not only the service but most importantly the quality and taste of food has deteriorated very badly. So much so that after my last visit (Where i had Achari sabji Rice Garlic Naan Simple Daal fry)

Everything was so pathetic that it induced health issues and infection in all of us who dined there that day. The daal was seemingly stale one with a repelling smell and achari sabji had no flavour of the actual achari masala

When I asked the waitress whether their Chef has changed she very CASUALLY mentioned they keep changing every now and then depending on what time you arrive at the restaurant so same item of food can taste different 🤷‍♀️ This was a ridiculous answer because there is something called SOP or a signature way of recipe which is consistent at a place. Imagine each Lindt chocolate or a pasta sauce or a branded achaar from India tasting different in different piece of product items because the person on that batch in production was a different one in each shift 😳 Anyways the food was pathetic and beyond edible limits or tolerance so we had to leave everything behind in our plates and move on not only hungry but with acidity and reflexes.

During this visit I also mentioned to the waitress that last time the veg Pakoras smelled of Non Veg She was not shocked and asked me a weird question that “Ohh matlab aaap ekdum hee sacche wale vegetarian ho?”

Means Ohh so you mean you are a “complete” Pure veg (and cannot accept anything of non veg ? It probably meant the oil in which pakoras were fried was the leftover oil from non veg fried dishes 😠😳

I being a Vegetarian all my life, could not eat any pakoras that day for they smelt of Non veg food

ALL IN ALL A STRICT NO FOR EAT DOORI

I MAKE A PERMANENT DOORI (distance) From this place and the brand too I wish i could give No stars at...

eatDOORI: A Modern Take on Traditional Indian Cuisine

eatDOORI is an Indian restaurant chain that offers a unique and modern take on traditional Indian dishes. They also serve up street food favorites and their own creative dishes. The restaurant's industrial design is sleek and stylish, and it's clear that a lot of thought has been put into creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and modern.

My Experience:

I had the pleasure of dining at eatDOORI recently, and I was very impressed with the food and service. I tried the ACHARI SUBZ, which is a tangy and spicy curry that is made with paneer cheese. It was absolutely delicious! The naan was fresh and fluffy, and the complimentary rice was a nice touch. I've never had complimentary rice before, so that was a new and welcome experience for me.

What I Loved:

The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The restaurant has a modern and stylish atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive. They offer a variety of delivery options, including bicycle and electric scooter delivery. They offer catering services for businesses. Overall, I highly recommend eatDOORI to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

Additional Tips:

If you're looking for something spicy, try the ACHARI SUBZ. The naan is a must-try! Don't forget to ask about the complimentary rice. Take advantage of their delivery options if you're short on time. I hope this helps you write your review!

Please let me know if you have any...
