Subject: Unacceptable Treatment at Natoo – Burn from Overheated Cappuccino
I traveled from Frankfurt to Vancouver on February 9th and purchased a cappuccino and a pretzel to go from Natoo. The total was €8.40, which I was happy to pay. When the tip option appeared on the payment machine, I chose not to tip, as I was taking my order to go.
However, I overheard an employee commenting to the barista about me skipping the tip, unaware that I understood their language. Shortly after, I received my cappuccino, which was so extremely hot that while I was walking to get a lid, it spilled on my wrist, causing a burn. The pain lasted throughout my 9.5-hour flight, and even after returning home, my skin remains red and irritated (photo attached).
When I went back to request a sleeve because I couldn’t even hold the cup, the employee simply gave me another cup to double it. It felt as though my drink was intentionally overheated as retaliation for not tipping—which it is completely unacceptable and dangerous behavior.
I returned to the counter to identify the employee but couldn’t clearly see her name. However, she had a heart tattoo on the top of her left-hand thumb. I hope the manager can identify her based on this detail or the codes on my receipt.
This experience was shocking and disappointing. A tip is meant to reward good service, not be a requirement—especially for a simple to-go order. Regardless, no customer should ever be treated this way. I expect a response and an appropriate resolution to this...
Read moreYesterday, at around 17:30, I had a very disappointing experience at Natoo Restaurant in Frankfurt. Despite presenting a valid meal voucher worth 15 euros, clearly visible on my boarding pass, a female staff member—who was not German—refused to serve me. Two young male staff members nearby saw the voucher and looked at me helplessly but did not intervene.
This refusal was not only unjustified but also felt disrespectful and humiliating. I expected professional and courteous service, especially when presenting a legitimate voucher. Unfortunately, the way I was treated fell far short of these expectations and left me feeling unwelcome.
I hope the management will address this issue promptly to ensure all customers are treated with respect and dignity regardless of...
Read moreThe branding promotes "healthy", but the nutritional values reveal an absurdly high fat and sugar content. The package recommended by the staff for a single meal amounts to almost 1800 kcal, especially 114 g of fat in a 500 g bowl seems weird, and I think it didn't actually contain as much fat. Either the label is wrong, or the food/portions are not suited for a healthy diet. The tea definitely is not, I never tasted a beverage that sweet.
