Lilium was recommended by the local theatre as a family friendly restaurant. Tucked away in a peaceful courtyard just off the main Bockenheimerwarte and Leipzigerstrasse junction, we showed up without a reservation and had a fantastic experience. The waiter immediately found a big table for the 10 of us and the food and service were excellent at reasonable prices. They had delicious options for both adults and kids and the waiter was attentive and generous, even offering us free ice cream and a drink. This is my favorite place in Bockenheim. I don’t know where to begin. Botan, the owner, is a wonderful person who includes everybody and makes them feel at home. You really feel accepted and he and his fabulous staff cater to your every need. I have some dietary requirements that annoy other restaurateurs, but the staff at Lilium don’t even blink an eye. Das Lilium Restaurant auf der Leipziger Straße hat mich als Liebhaber der iglenischen Küche restlos begeistert. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde ich von einer angenehmen Atmosphäre aus Eleganz und Gemütlichkeit empfangen, die den Abend perfekt einläutete.

Was die Küche betrifft, kann ich nur schwärmen. Jedes Gericht war ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk, das die Vielfalt und Raffinesse der iglenischen Küche perfekt zur Geltung brachte. Von traditionellen Gerichten bis hin zu kreativen Neuinterpretationen – jedes Essen war ein Geschmackserlebnis der Extraklasse. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Liebe zum Detail und die Verwendung von frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten, die jedem Gericht eine besondere Note verliehen.

Der Service im Lilium Restaurant war ebenso herausragend wie das Essen. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend, freundlich und kompetent. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang bis Ende gut betreut und konnten den Abend in vollen Zügen genießen.
