I do not recommend this cafe. They have NO HOSPITALITY. They are ARROGANT and have pretty much BUSINESS LIKE ATTITUDE.
I am allergic to caffeine and they served me Chai Latte with caffeine even though I double checked.
When I ordered I told them that I can’t have caffeine and I double checked if their ChaiLatte doesn’t contain caffeine and a lady say no. (I always do because at some cafes Chai contains some tea) After having a half cup of the Chai Latte and I started to feel dizzy. The owner checked the ingredients and she found out that it does contain Indian black tea. I was already feeling very dizzy and sick and what the owner said was..
“Oh it’s not caffeine but ‘thein’ (almost same substance as caffeine. ) contained. You have to tell us you can’t have ‘thein’ from the next time.”
instead of saying “We made a mistake and we’re sorry that you’re not feeling well.”
And at the end the owner says “So what can I do for you?” with a smile. (I assume she knew caffeine and thein have the same effect. I didn’t know the word thein but she did and explained.)
What an hospitality!! If you are a tea person, do not go there. They have no idea what they are serving and they are not nice at all.
P.S. The wifi didn’t work there. And they said that’s not their responsibility but the provider’s!! And...
Read moreThey do have the best coffee I have tried in the area, but reasonability and attention to the client do not seem to be their strong suit.
Once I had the intention to order a coffee there – which I used to do literally every day – and I went inside because the door was open. I was not aware, however, that the shop was still not in operation. The clerk simply yelled at me “RAUS!” which I found outrageous.
In spite of that, I kept going there because I like their coffee. Since they do not have any savory/salty items, I would order my coffee plus a small pain au chocolat or croissant and have those with a piece of sandwich I brought with me, just for the sake of also eating something savory with my coffee and my croissant (both ordered there).
So I was told that I should not eat anything brought from outside in the shop, even though (i) I had bought two other items there; (ii) I would not occupy a seat for more than 15 minutes, as I used to do every morning; and (iii) they do not sell any savory food.
I really try to be understanding with the lack of politeness and courtesy I find here every day, but sometimes it is just way more than what would be reasonable to accept, all the cultural...
Read moreA conveniently located space on the corner across from the U-Bahn, this well lit, modern and clean Café is a great place to stop by for a coffee and a snack. They offer the typical coffee fair, a modest selection of teas and half and full length baguette sandwiches, grilled upon order. The seating both inside and out is arranged in such a way that one can relish in the European pass time of people watching. If you need a break during your day or a social environment to work or read, you won't be disappointed.
Bonus: The musical selection at the time of my visit was littered with background ambiance of nature...
