Most larger towns/small cities will have at least one cafe offering speciality coffee now, many have multiple. With beans being seasonally available it often means you'll see the same countries offered. You then have to start doing something a little different, maybe it's the design of the location or the overall concept, otherwise you just become 'another'.
Bächle went all in on their customer service. The lead barista during my visit was full of passion and enthusiasm, willing to talk about all aspects of their work and made sure my coffee was spot on - all of this on a busy Saturday afternoon and while making sure all the guests were treated to the same high standard.

Perhaps it’s a cultural thing but our understanding of sourdough is different from the loaf they offered (homemade but very dense). Their chocolate bun was ok but not crunchy enough for our taste. The eggs were one hard boiled and another one softer, I would have liked to be asked how I wanted them so paying 2€ per egg for something not as enjoyable did not sit well with us. Read moreI found this cafe one of the best cafe in Germany!! I visited the cafe already two times and tried filter coffee, cappuccino, cake and sandwich. The cafe selects different coffee beans for each type of coffee. So, I enjoyed different tastes of coffee and found cappuccino especially delicious. I found the foods awesome, too. Especially, the vegetarian sandwiches are very delicious. They are worth to try, I would say. The waitress (the owner) is very kind and nice :) She is open and communicates well each customer. She explained much to me, a foreign visitor. The cafe locates on a good place in a part of old city of Freiburg and the view from the cafe is beautiful. I recommend you to visit the cafe!!...
