TLDR: Quantity good, quality sub-par. Many preparation and serving errors. If you're looking for a mediocre taste and varied fill it's a good option. If you're looking to get a real taste of the dishes as they should be prepared, this is not the place to go.

I visited the restaurant by myself for an all-you-can-eat dinner. The Lunch option would still be served for about an hour but sadly they wouldn't let me pick the Lunch option so I had to upgrade to Dinner, where I tried a wide variety of dishes of their side, sushi, warm and sweet sections. Overall I felt the Dinner option was absolutely not worth the price increase - selection too small, taste indistinguishable.

The first thing I noticed is that all tables had a ceramic spacer to put chopsticks on, which my table's setup was missing.

--- Sushi: The sushi was decent enough but both the quality of rolled sushi (almost all fell apart, see pictures) as well as the portion size was odd. I was served 4 pieces of the same sushi and one side of the prices was literally half the size of the other (again, see pics). As for size, Maki is tiny, Inside-out is large, gunkan is even larger and Nigiri are almost the size of a small hotdog - humongous.

Another issue I had was that you can order 5 pieces max per round, but I ended up with 6 pieces in one round with an extra hotdog-sized nilgiri being extra.

--- Dinner: The dinner option adds some warm dishes, from Takoyaki over different meat preparations and some Potatoes for the vegetarians. The lamb- and chicken-skewers were nigh indistinguishible from eachother with the only real flavour difference between them being the curry taste of the chicken. The "Special Sauce" for the pork appears to be a watered down soysauce with spring onion added - not bad, but not special either.

---Sweets: They're much bigger than you'd expect and the mochi are warm. For me a big letdown was the icecream. The Matcha Icecream had always been a must for me at the end of a Japanese food run, but in this restaurant the flavour is sadly not Matcha but another kind of green tea powder. If you ever had the slightly fishy tasting "green tea mochi" from the Asian supermarket then you'll know the flavour I'm talking about; also the tea flavour was very weak and it was on the far sweet side.

All in all it was an OK experience for the fill but not quite up to standards. I'd prefer the menu being simplified and each dish getting a preparation quality...

I have no idea how this place can possibly have good reviews. We were there with our whole team from work and not one of the people there with us was happy with the food nor the service. We all did the all-you-can-eat menu for 26 Euro. This is absolute robbery. The sushi is not prepared fresh and the rice tastes completely off in addition to being completely dry. We ate most of the things on the menu....with 8 people you can manage to try almost everything. Not one dish was anything where anyone would say that was great. At best some of the dishes got an "OK" but not in a good way...more like, were I dying and had nothing else to eat, that would be OK. Further, some of the beef dishes were downright disgusting.....dry or improperly prepared or just simply bad tasting. Further, we had some things delivered to the table where we couldn't even tell what it was....it looked nothing like the picture on the tablet...even when tasting it, we couldn't figure out what kind of meat it was or which dish. Only when we asked were we told and not surprised in a positive way that what we were eating was beef. Service couldn't care less and all the girls who were serving us did not do their jobs with any sense of inspiration or joy. I found the whole ordering process and the pressure to order every 15 minutes for two hours annoying. You are constantly paying attention to next steps and everyone is distracted. It turns all-you-can-eat into a race the clock while you do all-you-can-eat. This is not how a meal should happen. For 26 Euro per person you get to eat like pigs at a through. Maybe for 10 Euro this would make sense for gluttons but why would you do this to yourself more than once. None of us will ever be mistaken to go back and we were all totally disappointed as all the positive reviews of this place had us expecting so much more. We should have been forewarned when we walked into this fairly large restaurant to find it nearly empty. Best thing we could have done would have been to turn around...

Ich persönlich fand den Besuch bei kofookoo für den Preis wirklich furchtbar. Wir kamen an und wollten uns oben hinsetzen aber das wurde uns verwehrt weil kaum einer da war (Sonntag 16 Uhr) und sie oben einfach zu gemacht haben, obwohl die armen Kellnerinnen dadurch ständig Treppe hoch und runter rennen müssen weil die Küche oben ist.. dann wurde uns zu zweit EIN Tablet hingelegt, kurz das Prinzip erklärt und gesagt bekommen, ihr habt 2 Std Zeit. Bestellt werden kann nur alle 10 min. Wir haben uns für die große Karte entschieden weil selbst dort die Auswahl im Vergleich zu anderen vergleichbaren Restaurants einfach total klein war. Kostenpunkt knapp 26€ - Getränke natürlich noch extra. Geboten werden diverse kalte Vorspeisen, ein paar wenige aber durchaus gut essbare Suppen, diverse Teigtaschen, Frühlingsrollen, Ente, Hähnchen, Rind und Lachs in kleinen Häppchen (durchaus ok aber nichts außergewöhnlich gut zubereitet. War ok.), gar nicht Mal so viel Sushi, ausgefallene sushi Kosten extra und zwar teilweise 1€ pro Stück. Viele andere Gerichte, wie bestimmte Muscheln oder Hummer kosten ebenfalls extra. Dabei ist der Preis schon sehr hoch angesetzt bei 26€ und dann bekommt nicht mal jeder ein Tablet... Naja. Jedenfalls haben wir dann versucht, jeweils 5 Gerichte zu bestellen (mehr als 5 Mini Teller pro Person geht nicht) und das Tablet hat sich direkt am Anfang aufgehängt. Wir haben es noch drei weitere Male versucht, was natürlich auch alles Zeit kostet, weit und breit kein Kellner also hab ich einen gesucht. Netterweise mussten wir die rausgesuchten Sachen nicht nochmal raussuchen obwohl sich das Tablet komplett aufgehängt hat. Also saßen wir und warteten auf unsere Bestellung. Dadurch, dass nicht pro Person bestellt wird mit dem System sondern pro Tablet, kamen dann einfach Gerichte auf einem Teller und man musste dann unter sich klären, wer was bestellt hat. Das hat leider auch für unnötige Konflikte gesorgt weil meine Begleitung erst behauptet hat, die zwei sushis bestellt zu haben, die ich nehmen wollte und als ich sie dann nochmal bestellt habe, hat die Begleitung doch gesagt es wären meine. (Pro nicht aufgegessenes Sushi 1€ Strafe.) Also hieß es Augen zu und reinstopfen.. es kommt auch nicht die ganze Bestellung auf einmal sondern alles zeitversetzt sodass man irgendwann gar nicht mehr weiß, haben sie das Gericht nun vergessen oder kommt es gleich doppelt wenn ich es jetzt nochmal bestelle.. nachfragen wollte ich auch nicht weil ich nicht ständig nerven wollte weil es echt häufiger Mal der Fall war dass Gerichte erst in der zweiten oder dritten Runde kamen. Das Problem ist auch dass die kalten Gerichte teils wirklich kalt, während die warmen Speisen dadurch dass sie frisch zubereitet werden, extrem heiß sind und man durch dieses System alles durchmischt bekommt und man nicht entscheiden kann, ich esse in der ersten Runde nur Kaltes und in der zweiten dann Warmes. Ich hab durch Schmerzempfindliche Zähne echt Probleme damit gehabt. Dann gabs da ein Sushiteil, das mit Lachs und flanierten Käse angeboten wurde. Gleich gierig bestellt. Auf dem Foto sah es aus wie schöner, edler cheddar Käse. Als es dann vor mir stand, wusste ich, es ist einfach billiger, ekliger Schmelzkäse. Ein Wahnsinn für mich bei dem Preis im Hinterkopf dass sie mir allen Ernstes Schmelzkäse vorsetzen... Ein Mal probiert, konnte ich es nicht essen. Den Käse hab ich dann abgemacht. Riesige Enttäuschung. Im Laufe des Abends ist dann der Ingwer aus gegangen. Zum Glück zählen Saucen, ingwer und co nicht als Gericht sondern können immer zusätzlich bestellt werden. Leider kam es nach 3 runden immernoch nicht an während sich das Sushi auf dem Tisch häufte.. ich habe es dann ein weiteres Mal bestellt und tatsächlich (zum Glück) nur ein Mal bekommen. Auf dem Foto unten könnt ihr das Sushi mit dem Schmelzkäse sehen. Generell hat mich das Sushi nicht überzeugt. ich kann nicht verstehen, wie es sein kann, dass diese Restaurants so heftig gute Bewertungen hatten.... Leider habe ich jetzt bereits die bei Google verfügbare Anzahl an Buchstaben...
