Very tasty food. Normally I am underwhelmed by Indian restaurants, all over the world. They are mostly mediocre and overpriced. Exception - Singapore. I've never been to India. This place is good - very fresh vegetables, food is well seasoned, the portions were correct. I told the waiter to make my dish as he would eat it and it was perfect - a slow spicy build that had my senses vibrating by meal's end, but never strident or unpleasant. At the end of the meal he brought a complimentary shot of really interesting nectar - I think mango but maybe a blend. Nice touch. It's not quite 5 stars (still a little pricey for what it is IMO), but you can't give 4.5 and I'd rather raise their average than lower it because...
Read moreIt is a great place, good food and lovely ambiance. Must go place if you are visiting Hamburg. Better if you reserve table in advance to avoid disappointment. One thing to note, if you not local - be prepared to notice differential hospitality and attention to your table. I went there trice and noticed it. May be I expect much. Off course, you don't get neglected either, staff is polite and quick.
I think that's my personal experience, and others may have different views.
In any case, I will definitely recommend to visit the place for food...

Asked to make it medium spicy, but still was so blant that even salt needed to be added on top. Quantity as well was too little. 12.50 Euros fully wasted! It wasn't even worth 4 euros!!!
