While "cute" in appearance and marketing "Coffee, food, love" the reality is there is a disconnect from its appearance and its actual products. Lets start with the ginger tea, the water used to steep the tea, so the result was lackluster. The baked goods: while tastewise was okay, it was dense and incredibly, incredibly dry. Cappucino was decent; which should not be surprising since a machine was used to make it. All that, while not egregious, was enough to create a somewhat tepid review. What tanks this review is the customer service. If an establishment is going to be sold with a solid air of overpriced pretention, then at the very least have the staff trained on how to effectively deal with the backlash when things fall short of the target. Items are touted as vegan or gluten free; while that can resonate with some, be aware that it does not necessarily mean the items served are actually edible...

They brought us two cold Cappuccinos which were totally undrinkable. When we asked if we could get extra hot milk, we were told it's they're choice to make it cold. Sure, but then you need to inform the customers first. They made fun of us in the back very loud, in front of other costumers, twice, because we asked this hot milk. This is incredibly rude I don't think I ever experienced that before. If this is the attitude, you shouldn't be running a bar. I'm also sure this is was due to the fact that we were the only English speaking customers, while everyone else was German.

I see there are several critics to the bad service and the fact that they can't handle criticism properly. Shouldn't this ring a bell if other people are criticising the very same thing? I'm extremely disappointed and insulted by...

Wir waren am Freitag am Fischmarkt spazieren und haben spontan dieses Café entdeckt, also mussten wir es ausprobieren.

Das Lokal: Das Ambiente sehr schick, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Personal war anfangs auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben einmal Weideglück, das Käsesandwich und die Hausgemachte Limonade bestellt. Hier kam schon direkt der kleine Minuspunkt. Ich wollte das Pesto auf dem Sandwich ändern, da ich kein großer Freund vom grünem Pesto bin (Im Angebot haben sie auch ein anderes Pesto). Leider war dies nicht möglich, weil die Sandwiches schon fertig gemacht sind. Bei dem Preis kann man eigentlich erwarten, dass sie frisch zubereitet werden. Immerhin haben wir nicht allzu lange auf das Essen gewartet.

Das Essen: Es sah alles auf dem ersten Blick ganz gut aus und es wurde definitiv auch mit liebe gemacht aber irgendwie hatten wir den Eindruck, es fehlt etwas. Nun die Portionen waren auch relativ klein, da hatten wir uns etwas mehr erhofft. Es ist definitiv nicht für einen großen Hunger gedacht. Vom Geschmack her ist es kein Gaumenschmaus oder eine Wilde Geschmackskreation. Alles hat ganz Standard geschmeckt, bis auf das Sandwich. Das war für mein Geschmack unten etwas zu Cross (Fast schon angebraten). Wenn man noch vielleicht ein paar Extras dazu bestellen würde, wäre die Portion etwas größer aber dafür schon fast für einen Wucher Preis. Die Hausgemachte Limonade hat uns aber sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Glas war jedoch zur Hälfte mit Eiswürfeln voll. Für 5,50,- fanden wir es schon bisschen happig.

Am Ende haben wir uns bedankt und wollten mit der Karte bezahlen. Wir haben bewusst kein Trinkgeld gegeben, da wir einfach vom Essen nicht allzu begeistert waren. Das wir aber dafür am Ende nichtmal ein „Tschüss“ oder „Auf Wiedersehen“ bekommen, fanden wir garnicht schön… Wir leben ja nicht in den Vereinigten Staaten, wo die Gastro Mitarbeiter unterbezahlt sind und auf‘s Trinkgeld angewiesen sind. Sehr schade!

Fazit: All in all können wir das schicke Etablissement leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Es ist nicht böse gemeint aber für ein Standard essen (Auch wenn‘s Schick aussieht) mit einem Getränk knappe 30€ zahlen, finden wir in Relation unpassend. Da lohnt es sich mehr paar Straßen weiter eine Bäckerei zu besuchen und man bekommt eine viel größere Portion die ungefähr genauso schmeckt, für...
