BoBo Hannover — Restaurant in Hanover

"Unassuming" from the Google card is a very fitting description! Something about this place put me at ease, idk if it's just the decor or the approachable and positive staff – probably both :) It was really busy but the vibe was still relaxed and welcoming.

Love the layout; even though it's one large open space, there are many different seating options. I appreciate that they welcome laptop users, which is becoming increasingly rare (I didn't use one, but others around me did and tbh I can't see how it ruins the atmosphere or whatever).

The apple and kiwi lemonade was perfect! The salad was a tasty, light late lunch, maybe it's not exactly restaurant quality (for instance, the chicken was a bit dry and there was very little of it), but it's a pretty healthy & filling option for when you don't have time for anything too fancy. (Note about the photo: I ordered my food to go for that reason – I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish it before I had to leave)

I will definitely come back if I'm ever...

Atmosphere was nice, comfortable to reach it and the food was great. We are ordering usually bowls with salmon, really loved it. However, my friend had an accident, about what I found out only after we left. She ordered a lactose-free coffee because she’s lactose intolerant, but unfortunately she got a coffee with obviously usual milk. After few nice sips the reaction to the coffee was not long in coming and she spent a considerable amount of time in the restroom. The reason of this can be the fact, that in the restaurant it was quite too crowded and in stressful conditions our order was taken wrongly or or or, but I guess it’s better to be careful if guests are telling not to put something in the dish/drink (you never know what of these “special ingredient” can provoke a crazy allergic reaction or anything else). Nevertheless highly recommend this place. We visited this few times...

I would not recommend this place. It was very disappointing and too expensive for what you get. The digital menu is kind of confusing. We ordered the “Amazing Acai” smoothie AND bowl, however there is no Bowl called “Amazing Acai” but the waiter did not bother to inform me and just brought me some other Breakfast bowl (Organic Blueberry Acai Bowl) without checking in with me. I did not know that until we had left already and checked the menu again later. The bowl consisted mostly of blended banana and had a very slimy consistency, it tasted nothing like acai. The portions are quite small, the smoothie was tinyyy🤏🏽and did not taste like much. There a huge amount of peanut butter on the bowl it was a bit overwhelming. We paid 20€ for both. All in all we will not go there again. There is an Italian restaurant/bar across BoBo that looked so much more...
