P11 Café Bar — Restaurant in Heidelberg

The place needs a serious change on the approach towards clients. When we came the waiter asked us to seat and didn’t come. When I came at the bar after different minutes to make an order, I’ve been told that I need to wait on the table and that we will be served according to the line. We waited and other people seated in the meanwhile, the waiter started to take orders from people and completely ignored us. That’s was a very rude and not welcoming attitude and we left the place. People should show the basics of good manners...

I went here several times but only to drink something during the day or at night. All the times I was timely served and the staff was very friendly. Once I wanted to check their cake options for the classic German "Kaffee und Kuchen" in the afternoon but the cakes didn't look that nice, really dry. So we didn't even try. I believe you can also eat lunch here but I never had the chance. It is located in a corner near a busy area of the city (people walking but also cars and tram) so it might not be the perfect place to...

I've been a happy returning customer of P11 for the better part of the last 8 years. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, the place has a great ambience and is recommended for anything between a laid back Sunday morning coffee to a weekday late evening drink.

Great cakes (e.g. cheesecake) & snacks also available. Service can be slow but nothing too annoying. Prices are right on the local average, nothing to...
